I do hate it when you are on almost no health and get a boss which you know is going to hit you at least once. Or high health but no ammo, the worst ever was FFX against the Omega monster thing, which had a move which could kill all of you in 1 go (9999 damage to everyone) the only way past it is if he didn't use it at the beginning, he was hard enough without using a "Kill all of you" move with his first attack. It didn't make it more challenging it just wasted time having to keep dying and going back to fight him until he waited a while to do the attack
