They changed it to avoid being related to a book of the same name, I think.

Doesn't matter. The name doesn't matter.

It could be called "Steamy Poppycock Adventures: Dudes with Guns" and still would be as good. Probably even better!

Im still doing good around there, i really havent noticed anything.
Im only on Chapter 6.

If it wasn't chapter 5 it was chapter 7, I forget. I really need to play it more. I got up to chapter 6, but I haven't played in so long that I will restart when I do play it again.

Considering we have seen RPGs called "Infinite Undiscovery" and "Divine Divinity", it's not so bad.

There's like no reason to not have BOTH. Like FO3, for example.

Response to: Resonance of Fate Posted August 19th, 2010 in Video Games

The game is great, the dialogue is funny, the graphics are pretty good and the voice acting and music are great too. I don't know about the story because I haven't played much, but apparently shit starts to get heavy around chapter 5.

Having only played this a bit, I can say that it's waaaaaaaaay more fun than FF13 (which I haven't played too much either). At least the combat system is way better. The battles are cinematic but you actually control them, unlike in FF13.

I have not seen it get bashed, tho. Only ignored. Only saw it bashed one but it was by a noob that didn't even know how to spell stuff, sucked at grammar, sucked at the game and complained about the GOOD THINGS as if they were the bad things of the game.

I dare say it's the best JRPG for 360.

Response to: Voice Acting in Zelda Posted August 19th, 2010 in Video Games

Also, the CDi games have nothing to do with this. They weren't even developed by Nintendo.

It would be harder to rehash the gameplay and story if you also needed to hire VAs

(The 360 still has more exclusives than that. Just like the PS3 has more exclusives than LBP, Uncharted and MGS)

Even Divinity 2 is more fun than Fable 2. And I mean the 360 version of Divinity 2, too.

Response to: Xbox360 2 player games Posted August 16th, 2010 in Video Games

Both Army of Two games are awesome in co-op, and they are fun to play solo too, in my opinion. The first one is more varied, less serious and more fast paced. But the second one improves on things from the first one, while also removing a lot of things.

Splinter Cell: Conviction has some pretty nice co-op missions.

Borderlands is pretty good if you just wanna kill stuff while getting crazy loot.

Kane & Lynch is a pretty good shooter too, but it's pretty hard and you die easily.

Resident Evil 5 is another great shooter. Not so good in single player, however.

Castle Crashers is good if you ever need a game for more than just 2 persons. Scott Pilgrim is an arguably better beat-em-up.

Blur is GREAT if you want a racing game. It's like Mario Kart, except it's way more fun. There are no "blue shells", for example.

The Left 4 Deads are good if you wanna shoot zombies in first person. L4D2 has melee weapons, that makes it superior (IMO)

The Gears of Wars games are also good for both versus and co-op. I personally prefer either Army of Two over GoW's co-op, tho.

Any Dynasty/Samurai/Orochi Warriors game. Hack and slash. Kill loads of dudes. And stuff.

I dunno what more to suggest without looking at the games I own.

So I will warn you about one game. Do not get Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2 for local co-op. It's framerate is slow, it's in a bastardized first person view and it just plain sucks dick for local multiplayer.
