3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsAwww crap, it sucks to live in a country like Venezuela, I can't get a card because the only guy I know that sells them at a good enough price as ran out of stuff. I will try to buy it from someone else if I find anyone trustworthy, but whatever.
But no matter, I got the trial. And it's fucking awesome, I can tell this is gonna be way better than DR1 (which I liked, but not too much). The trial gives you a lot of time to simply mess around killing zombies if you, like a dick, let your girl die.
I did most combinations, and they're pretty crazy and awesome. I just wish this had the awesome boxing gloves of FIIREEEEEE so I could burn zombies while I punch the shit out of their fucking bodies! At least I have the Boomstick.
It's amazing how much the mere trial lets you do (the trial of a "demo", none the less!)
Yeeeeeeeeeah boy!
I'm getting this shit!
Gotta get me 400 MSP first, tho.
Just on question: are the BOXING GLOVES OF FIRE in it?

It's not that bad, really. The little girls have their minds tinkered with, so they see Rapture as a very fancy place and not a fucking mess. Splicers are nice and not horrible and corpses look like angels to them.
Kinda spoilers for Bioshock 2: You can see Rapture through the eyes of a Little Sister in Bioshock 2, near the ending. It's pretty cool.
I'm interested in it.
If it has offline co-op I will most likely end up getting it sooner or later.
Indeed, it does seem like they aren't too good, according to what seems to be the general opinion on them. And I'm not really too interested in them, just wanted to know if they were actually worth playing at all.
I think I may just jump right into AC2, which everyone agrees is superior than AC1 in many ways. Specially since I already have AC2 anyway.
OK, so I just finished Assassin's Creed 1 and I was wondering if Altair's Chronicles and Bloodlines are worth playing at all?
Or do they not add anything to the plot or actually suck and I should just jump right into AC2?
Divinity 2 has an ending which most players say was horrible. I thought it was pretty cool and interesting. I do see why it would kill the replay value for some, tho. Don't look it up if you want to play the game.

Unless you get it for PC. WIth user-made campaigns and stuff. :B

Oh yeah, and I'm sorry to double-post, but I forgot about Red Dead Redemption. To anyone that doesn't know (doubt it) you kill the animals and then skin them, so I doubt anyone gives a fuck. And it was also by Rockstar.
Killing a cat and skinning it to get money for drugs would be cool.
Animals - I don't see why you wouldn't add them. It's not like "OMG KILLING ANIMALS IS WRONG" and stuff. Bioshock had a LOT of dead cats just hanging around Rapture, Fallout 3 had mutated animals which you could not only kill but also mutilate (specially the dogs) and the CoD games have the whole "A DOG IS GONNA KILL YOU, BREAK ITS FUCKING NECK!" thing so it's not anyone cares about virtual cruelty against animals. So they could put them in a GTA game without any "animal cruelty" controversy.
Children - I bet they don't have them in GTA because if they did have them most pople would want to kill them, just like we can kill everyone else. But killing children is, like sex, simply uncool and forbidden. Just look at how much controversy there was around Bully, it was a fair lot for a game which doesn't have a lot of violence. Not even Fallout 3 lets you kill children. And damn right it would be cool to kill all the little fucks in Little Lamplight.
On that note. Bully 2, yes?
In short: only on PC using the console.
I'm not that kind of pirate
I've played a bit.
It was crazy interesting.
I need to play more of it someday, seriously. i dunno why I haven't done it yet.
It's only the forums, mostly.
Unless you play in servers full of retards.
I have a hat and I completely forget I have it.
What they should do with hats to FIX the hats while keeping them is make ALL the hats (except for the exclusives like the Worms stuff) available for everyone from the start, same for weapons. There's no fucking point not to do it like that.
Trading and crafting are not a fix.
"The Wii is awesome"
Fucking bullshit. Everything said in that shit is bullshit.
The only way to fix the game is to remove the non-sniper sections entirely, and I don't think the patch does that.
Wanted: Weapons of Fate (the shortness of it all keeps it from getting annoying with repetitive gameplay)
Both Godfather games.
Dunno what else to say,
dicks
Fallout 3 + Dead Rising gameplay style.
First Person RPG in which you can use everything as weapons!
It would be called "Super Awesome Interactive Stories: Little John VS The Antigameios"
You would play as a dude with a lil' dick called Little John. His dick size would be constantly used as a very important story element. He must use it to defeat the Antigameios, which are complete assholes that don't like videogames because they don't think they are rad enough.
All in all, it will kick your ass.
The problem is not people being interested in other culture, but being obsessed with it to the point where they hate their own.

I know I am
Indeed! No exceptions!
WRPG: I can't decide. Divinity 2 and Fallout 3 are my favorite WRPGs as of late, and favorite RPGs as a whole.
Divinity 2 is amazing, because even the technically flawed 360 version is fun if you can ignore its flaws. If Dragon Knight Saga really fixes what is wrong with the game, then it will be one of the best WRPGs ever. Because it would also add 20 hours of gameplay and fix the issues. That's what I've read, at least. Plus, Fallout 3 shows that people can ignore the whole problem with NPCs that look and sound like each other as long as everything else is great.
Fallout 3 is simply great. The atmosphere, the dialogue, the story, everything. Also being able to kill everyone is REALLY nice, ha! Nothing bad about it except for the NPCs looking and sounding like each other, but with so many unique NPCs, it doesn't matter.
JRPG:
Resonance of Fate is simply awesome. The gameplay and story are fairly different from other JPRGs for it to be awesome. The combat system is just really fun, the music is great, the graphics are cool and the characters are a tad more realistic than most generic anime characters.
The Shin Megami Tensei series. Favorite JRPG series, mostly only care about them when it comes to JRPGs. I like the whole thing about using demons and stuff. The character designs are pretty cool (I mean the designs like in old Persona games, SMTs and stuff. Not like in the new Personas, but I like that style too). The stories are also pretty cool and stuff.
In the end, I love both styles but actually prefer WRPGs most of the time, because WRPGs give me more freedom with my character. Mainly in the stats and skills section than in personality and crap. I also just find WRPGs to be way more original and varied than JRPGs.
Sometimes they are. Sometimes they aren't.
Sometimes it depends on how much the pockets got filled.
Sometimes it doesn't.
Sometimes the review bases itself on crap that probably wasn't necessary to the game, like story.
Sometimes the review bases itself simply on how actually FUN the game is.
All I know is that I ignore "professional reviews" and only read reviews from other average gamers. Then I see what's the general opinion (not the score, I read THE WORDS) of the game and decide on getting the game depending on what I want and what the reviews say I will get.
Sometimes I just ignore reviews and get games, even if the game may be shit. It's like, surprise!
At 8/21/10 06:14 PM, Dr-Worm wrote: And then fanboys get all pissy at the likes of Yahtzee Croshaw and Jim Sterling and don't take their reviews seriously...
Sometimes it's stupid. I know people ignored Kane & Lynch 2 completely, without even TRYING the demo, just because Jim's review was HIGHLY negative. I'm OK with people agreeing with it if they actually DID try the damn game or the demo. But if they didn't try the game, then what the fuck do they know?
Some people admitted not even watching the trailers and shit, then said "Thanks for saving me some money. This is why I always go to Destructoid for reviews. Everyone that gave it a high score got bribed."
Heck, it probably was them trolls, but I don't doubt people being stupid enough to actually do that.
Specially bothered me because Kane & Lynch 2 seems like one of these "love it or hate it" games. Some GAMERS genuinely hate it, others genuinely love it. Seeing people that MAY love it ignore it because of the review of a person that HATED it is pretty shit.
If EVERYONE does say the game is a broken piece of shit, then it's obvious that the game is a complete failure. But if at least another person enjoyed the game, you may enjoy it yourself.
I also don't see 6/10 being a bad score. I think a bad score is 5/10, which would mean it's below average. Off course, I didn't study in a school in which a 7/10 was like a D or whatever crazy shit. I was taught that 5/10 is average. Same for 10/20. And 50/100. And so on.
My daughter got squished by a dump truck.
A lot of times.
While my cousin was helping me prevent it.
Damn it...

There are level editors for NSMB (both Wii and DS, mind you) and people do a lot of crap with Brawl (even tho the brawl modding community is fucking retarded)

YOU. FUCKING. HAVE. TO. LIKE. IT. DAMN. IT!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!!!!!
People stiiiiiiiill play Brawl?
I guess it's mostly the people that ONLY have a Wii?
And for the purpose of staying mentally sane, the game should be called Sega All-Stars Racing anyway. And it is good and fun, it at least feels like they are fast.
(My favorite recent racing game in general is Blur, tho)
and yeah double post blah

Saying a game is a Mario Kart rip-off is insulting, in the same way that calling black people "n"s is. Seriously.
Mario Kart sucks. It doesn't even feel like they are racing, it feels like they are riding turtles.

Son, I am disappoint.
Crazy Taxi wasn't racing. It was a Taxi Driving Simulation game, and the most realistic one while we're at it.
