Xbox 360 Offline Co-op games Posted July 10th, 2010 in Video Games

Hey people of the videogames forum, I've come to you asking for recommendation for good Xbox 360 games with offline co-op. OFFLINE. Mainly because I'm gonna see my cousin at least once a week for a long while and he only likes co-op games.

I currently have these. Saying just so you don't suggest them again, if you bother to read the list: Splinter Cell: Conviction, Army of Two: The 40th Day, Castle Crashers, Assault Heroes, Left 4 Dead 2, Resident Evil 5, Borderlands, a share Warriors games (Dynasty 6, Gundam 2, Orochi 2), Gears of War 2 and Lost Planet 2.

So yeah.

Why make a new game (or let someone else make it for you) when you can just port the same old game with no changes to a new console, man?!

I've played and completed the Godfather 2, and I've completed The Godfather 1 (the Wii version, tho, back when I only had the Wii).

If you dig deeper into it, there are 2 groups. The one that says it's fucking shit, and the one that says it's wonderful. I personally found it to be really fun even tho there's like NOTHING to do after completing the game (since pretty much everyone ends up dying in one way or another, lol). If you can, you should try it if you can.

Like Naughty Bear. God, the people that like it think it's really fun for what is there but they do agree it's flawed and should've been sold as a downloadable title, generally. The ones that didn't like it, however, say that the people that like it are lying to themselves.

It's the same situation right here, it's a love it or hate it game. Crackdown 1 got mixed reviews, some hated it and some loved it. Some disliked it's lack of story while others liked it just because of that. The only real complain I've seen about Crackdown 2 so far is that it's TOO similar to the first one. So the people that liked the 1st will love this one.

Well, would you look at that right there wall, yup.

The difference between Blur and Mario Kart is that Blur is actually fun. Guess it's the lack of stupid blue shells and that it actually feels like a racing game.

Both of the games you mentioned weren't developed by Sony, too, so I don't see what you're getting at. In short, you really are a troll.

I hated that game! I got stuck on the third or fourth day for Christs sake!

Now, from the top of my head, I can't name the worst I've played because my memory sucks.

Response to: Fallout new vegas= addon? Posted July 6th, 2010 in Video Games

If Fallout: New Vegas can be considered an add-on to FO3, then all the Pokemons game after 1st gen can be considered add-ons to the 1st gen games.

Not too many home console players want a game that just supports online multiplayer because not every 360 player or PS3 player has online play. However, Counter Strike on XBLA and PSN does sound feasible and like a good idea.

What about stuff like MW2? People only get it for the MP...

I wonder what world do you live in, bro.

The only thing the DS does better than the PSP is not having some stupid obnoxious kid as it's "voice". That's about it.

You're only hurting your own experience. I've used emulators, and let me tell you, it ain't as good as the real thing. A physical copy, the actual hardware, these things improve the experience. Games are more fun when you're sprawled out on the couch than they are when you're sitting at the computer.

Who said he was emulating it on the PC? He could be emulating it on a PS2, a Wii, a PSP or a DS too, ya know?

Oh, and like Way of the Samurai 3 which was bashed by a lot of people, but I got it because I'm a fan of the series and I love the game. I need to play it more, tho.

Response to: Would you buy a 7/10 or lower game? Posted June 25th, 2010 in Video Games

I read many reviews first. If most reviews all agree that the game is pure shit due to bugs or glitches or something then I probably ignore it (say, if it only gets 1/10 from every person that played it ever). If there's a lot of people saying it's shit and another lot of people saying it's great, I consider it the same as if everyone was saying it's great.

Like The Godfather 2, a lot of people hated it and a group loved it. I loved it, even tho it was short and there's like nothing to do after completing it.

In the first Dead Rising, you had like three days to complete the missions, leaving little time to fuck about and practice killing zombies.

Yeah, time limit is still in.

I do want a lot of games.

Response to: Natal Is The Best!!! Posted June 17th, 2010 in Video Games

I think that both Move and Kinect will work as long as all the devs don't just jump into the motion control bandwagon. Unnecessary motion controls are what sort of kill the Wii, no? A lot of crappy devs go all "I WANT TOO!" and make some crappy piece of shit with some stupid waggle and then release it for the "casual gamers" to buy.

I think that Move and Kinect will take a backseat to the actual controllers simply because they don't come with the console and are a bonus thing, and I bet most big "hardcore" games would only use them optionally, if at all.
