You know what? I used to believe in this as well, but a lot of time has gone by since that first post and the users from then all have matured. Why didn't the board as well? I don't get it. Is it the rules? Is it the code? What's preventing the BBS from evolving?

Eh, this place isn't so bad. Just yesterday I randomly decided I would participate here a bunch, and ended up running into a bunch of older chill users I hadn't interacted with in a while. And had decent conversation with several other users that I didn't even recognize. Everyone's within reason if you want them to be.

I really didn't feel any difference in performance, when I tried Vista a couple of days ago. It's just as fast as XP. Besides the 500 ram it used I saw no reason to say it was a bad OS. But who uses more than a gig of ram, everytime they're on a PC anyway?

This whole "Vista Sucks" campaign, that has been going around for god knows how long is pretty baseless.

Vista is a nice upgrade from XP, with plenty of new advanced features in the explorer as well as a much greater tweakability.

I might even Pirate it someday, when Dell finally sends me that extra ram for my laptop that I've ordered 4 month ago. Fucking cunts.

Well, It could be made so that we can only vote for entries that are under judgment, not the ones that have already passed. So that the only way to get xp is to actually contibute instead of just voting for the same entries every day.

But then people would just vote zeroes all the time.

I say the staff should get rid of the standard xp system, make B/P's the new standard and only make voting possible for under judgment entries. On top of it all, make a counter for the entries that you didn't get any P/B points for. Maybe also a limit for how many entries you can vote on every day.

Bah maybe I'm just talking rubbish, this might not change anything except to bring in more people in the portal and give entries more exposure.
