Definitely some sort of advanced formula LFO that can control independent envelopes. Of course that already exists in FL... (Fruity Formula Generator) ...but it'd be cool if it was incorporated in the VSTi.

Are you talking about using an LFO to change a parameter of an envelope in real time, or something else?

Piano strings have release (the strings vibrating after you life the hammer/key) and then there is a natural reverb in the case itself...is that what you are talking about?

Maybe it was too implied, but what I really mean is something you haven't seen in a vst that you think would be cool.

Hey so I've been thinking about getting down and dirty with the steinberg vst sdk to whip me up something like a sampler or a synth or effects generator or whatevs. Mainly because I need to start utilizing these software development skills and anything musical will keep me most interested.

So if you could have any feature, within reason (in other words don't say SOUNDGOODIZER LOLOLOL), for a vst synth/sampler/effectsgen, what would it be?

Hi, just an FYI this forum is for the discussion of music production and it's aspects, and not commercial music.

I usually have a song named in the very early stages, as it helps guide me through the production process towards the sound I am looking for.

Yes, that is definitely an overuse of sidechaining. I think is track would flow better if he cut it back a bit and added some more power to the percussion.

I think this one really deserves it. It's a different style then what most others do here, so it was a nice fresh track.

I don't think I would say that it is the only track there that deserves it, but it is the best sounding track to me.

bjra is nothing special, in fact each and every of his tracks i (tryed to) listened to made me bash my head into my table.

See, I'm being rational. You're just being a douche. He really does have a little something for everybody in terms of style.

Protip: if somebody is better than you (yeah I said it, mad?), bashing them does not magically make you better. I know that's what is going on in your head, so you might want to R/R that attitude.

perhaps i should link you to some of his songs he made about 4 or 5 years ago ;)

He's very talented for sure. Actually I think he's one of the most flexible and musically gifted artists on the forum. But to call him godlike is just naive asskissery, and there is way too much of that in this community in general.

Not a single person on this site is even close to being that good. If his music made you decide to quit music, you never had enough motivation in the first place. (no offense bjra)

This is not middle school. It's not a place where it is "cool" to break the rules and those trying to maintain order are looked down upon.

Immaturity is frowned upon in this forum. Just an FYI.

I think what he means is he records each track separately but by hand as opposed to pre-composed as midi data.

Hi, welcome to the Audio Forum.

It's been established that any activity and/or discussion of linking to works submitted to newgrounds should take place in the Audio Advertisements Thread. We can't have genre-specific review threads since if there was a thread for every genre, it would clog up the front page of the forum.

There was an attempt at a thread just like this for hip-hop a week or two ago, and it was locked. Just a heads up.

Holy crap, he resubmitted somebody else's song with the lamest excuse I've ever seen. And now you've most likely gotten the attention of audio mods, so enjoy your newly found inability to submit audio.
