Hey, long time no see! You were one of the first Wi/Ht?'ers I got to know back then and it's always great to see veterans such as yourself taking the time to visit the LUL whenever you can.

Well, I remember you as well. =D I guess the big question is what happened to the lucky number 7 in front of your username from years back? =P

At 6/20/09 06:43 AM, Coop83 wrote: I think it's a couple of years now, at least. Welcome back. How the devil are you?

Hmmm not too shabby thanks. I'm in my third year of Uni now, working pretty hard and still enjoying myself (somehow). Apart from that, nothing else too new...apart from being a few years old and a little more mature (I hope). How about yourself? Ah, do you still write these days?

Hmmm, how long has it been since I last made a post on the BBS? Particularly, in here? Ah, some users I still recognise, some look new...wow, much has changed!

Well obviously you haven't learnt much, have you?

Plus, air rifles are considered as illegal firearms in Australia, just in case you're interested (and if someone sees you and calls the police). Maybe you'd get incarcerated AND castrated at the same time. Ouch.

Hmmm, if I had an issue with the school, I'd bring it up with the maintanence man. I'm always forward with it comes to issues with my school like that.

I'll say an entire sentence and say "so yeah" at the end from habit. Doesn't work too well on chat as people think I'm implying something more.

Apart from that, I don't say too much, so yeah.

What if I find the upper thigh region of men a turn on? Well, I'm waiting for that pic.

Well a golf ball is pretty damn dense...compared to an air rifle pellet, which would stand no chance. But of course, you'd need at least Year 11 science to be able to understand detailed schematics of that.

Um, you seem to be worried more about typos over the safety of others.

Any public pool with a live current is a OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) Hazard, which means it complies against normal rules (pools without currents). Also according to the majority of school conducts, unsafe school environments are prohibited and are entitled to be dealt with legal action if regulations are breached.

So sue your school and earn money. Or tell someone. That's just stupid kid.

The last time I remember, 9/11 and 11/11 are totally different days. If I had my way, I would have gone up to the veterans personally (after your assembly) and expressed my gratitude to them and their services and subtly mentioned the quality of the assembly. And if any teacher tried to yell at me, I'd yell back because it would be my way of expressing something someone else couldn't do properly.

Sorry to hear about your crap school. =(

Hey all.

Today I made the second last trip to my school to sort out some business and finance stuff that I had been occupied with throughout the year. It feels anticlimatic leaving there as lots of people came up to me (Year 10 and below) to have a chat to me.

Alas, such is life. Ever so changing. I'm pumped for University and for what it might have in store for this little Alkador. Time to kick some butt!

And how are the lives of the regulars in this lounge at the moment?

I'm 18 years old and I read Garfield to give myself a few laughs. Everytime I look at the comics section with the puzzles and all that, Garfield is the first I read. Not sure why, I just find it amusing. And cute. And occasionally funny.

Good old Australian music. Good band.

Personally, I'd be more happy to spend 70 bucks or whatever to get a few guitar lesson books and learn the real thing. I mean, it's a game and all that, but why not learn the real thing?

That's my personal opinion, but if people like Guitar Hero, that's cool too.

Posted: 11/07/06 08:43 AM

Forum: General

Microphone problems can be so extensive, so let's start with the basics.

1) Volume Control
Options > Properties > Ok > Select Microphone

2) If you have Windows XP
Control Panel > Speech > Configure Microphone > Follow steps to the end

3) Sound Settings
Control Panel > Sound Effect Manager > Speaker Configuration < Find a channel that supports the microphone

Hope those two help in some way.

Yes, and I'm sure you have changed your aura as well. Is it just me, or have you grown an evil streak? I've been well. Finished high school now, so free here a lot. Can loiter, relax and do all those things people do during the College summer breaks. Good to see an old member make more of an appearance here. We're missing a lot of that these days, sadly.

Hmmm, sorry to hear about that mate.

Life can be such a cruel thing. But when those you love most use you for their own ideals, it really turns the knots on you.

Just focus, relax and think for a second. They may linger in your head for a moment, but there are greater possibilities in this world of ours. Plus, you still have your mate Tom, so as long as you have your closest friend who can understand you, you should be alright.

A similar thing happened to me...except it was with a guy and I was the doormat. I feel stupid looking back on it and FORGIVING the person who turned me in circles because it wasn't worth it getting to 'be friends' with him again.

Anyway, don't get TOO gloomy.

It does, but under slightly different circumstances.

It all started with a dream of a man walking down my street with a gun in his hand...ready to shoot me. The image of him walking towards me is burnt into my head and I sometimes worry if that exact premonition may happen.

I also am not a fan of the dark, so I guess I'm more wary at that time. But it's more subconcious than serious paranoia.

I like a fair few of them. I like gambit, even though he's not in the movies as he can chuck playing cards and use dice as explosives. Kind of funky.

But in the movies, Storm would have to be my favourite because she can fly. And I like flying super heroes.

Lift the blade. Deep breath. Focus. Look around you, feel the wind touch your skin, feel the clothes weigh you down. Listen for the faintest sound. Do you hear it? Do you hear the sound of the waves crashing? No, they're not waves. It's a momentum. Something is building up. It's getting louder and you feel bass rumble through your feet. You turn around. Slowly. Deep breath. Louder. Earth is rumbling now. Something is coming...

That's right, something's coming. What could it be? You'll just to wait and find out...

I was wondering if you had a site that housed all of your stories you made here in the LUL.

A site? Probably, but it has most likely dusted away. PM me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you my unedited version (I never got around to fixing its grammar mistakes and all).
