Either on the reverb knob, right click and choose create automation clip, or tweak the reverb knob, go to the top left menu on FL Keys and choose browse parameters. If you tweak the reverb, it'll find the reverb parameter. Right click it, choose create automation clip and play with that. You can use edit events, its just upto your preference.

OR you can play with the release and sustain knobs till you get what you want.

Topic: What is 8-bit?

Posted: 11/28/09 03:11 PM

Forum: Audio

Its to do with sample rate.

Most tracks these days are 16 bit 44.1 kHz because its what CD's read.

Back in the day before CDs, there was probably little hardware which read off 16 bit (I think, Im not educated about old stuff).

The higher the bit rate, the more complex the sounds are going to be, since theres more information in 16 bit than 8 bit.

THIS MEANS THAT 8 bit sounds like chiptune because the hardware from back in the day wont be able to read high quality sounds, and if it could it would be super compressed and distorted.

Dark, baggy jeans down to my bum cheeks and shirts that fit my frame, and tight hoodies, or zipped hoodies with my sleeves always rolled up. :3

I wear branded stuff like Bench, but I like to get cheap stuff from Primark too. ;D

Depends. Looks like a condenser to me, so probably percussive and softer instruments, and vocals, as long as its not screamo.

Yeah, but you might want to export the whole track into your DAW again, then add more than just Izotope.

But Izotope has a nice analyzer so, yeah.

I wont worry too much about mastering yet though, takes years of practice, but the easiest thing to do is to slap and EQ onto your master on the export and use your ears and a piece of music the same genre and compare.

What mic are you using?

You need a dynamic mic for recording electric guitar since you can damage a condenser's diaphragm.

Jeez man, get around. Every DnB artist has Unique textures, every track is different. Listen to some Skullstep, Techstep, Neurofunk, Darkstep and Liquid and compare them, till you say that, that one artist out of thousands is the only unique one that doesn't make DnB boring.
