Need some decision help

Ok heres the riddle, I have macromedia flash 8.But it seems like everyone is using cs5 and im not sure if Imade the right choice here. Is there any major differences that anyone knows of? I don't know I feel like I got the wrong program.Do you guys think I should get cs5 too. I really don't want to waste money if its not that important.
