Gahhh, I hate the label "black music". I mean, the music that truly stems from African origin tends to just be happy to be what it is, without racial labels. Music that is obsessed with image tends to identify itself by its outward appearance though, and so "black" culture starts to look like pretentious, overly violent rubbish. A 404d link is totally invalid as a source, Wikipedia is one of the most valid sources citable (and I'm sorry, but considering otherwise shows just how little you know about the web) and all your posts take the rosy tinted nationalist outlook on history. I could list facts in attempt to dispute them, but actually I think you know others will have listed the same facts before, so I don't think changing your opinion there is a viable option.

I will mention in passing though, a couple of points about the world's most successful nations:

- China: 28 different races and cultures have been integrated and are now collectively referred to as native Chinese, to say nothing about immigrant labour.

- USA: countless different nationalities of European, African and native varieties, the cultural distinctions creating the basis for much modern classical culture (see: Brer Rabbit, Gershwin, and TS Elliot's afro- American influences).

And a quick little pointer that the most nationalistic as well as the most racially and culturally homogenous countries (Hungary, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia) all tend to fail badly. That is all.
