Oh god, you're right.

Most adults nowadays will only have old photos to be embarrassed about, but we as a generation will have entire records of what we were when we were young.

It won't just be 'oh man, you thought that haircut looked good back then?', it will be 'oh man, your entire belief system back then was hilarious'.

That is terrifying.

Is Justin Bieber really such a big thing that people need to complain about him all the time?

I've only ever heard about him in complaints on the internet, and in passing off line. I've never encountered one of his songs anywhere.

Since I don't care about him, I've been ignoring him. It's very easy to turn your mind off Justin Bieber.

Oh god she looks like she's going to break in half.

Exaggeration is one thing, but that waist is just ridiculous.

Also, the torso I think is a bit too long. She looks a little like Goro to me. Without the extra arms.

Of course every other part of the picture is amazing. So I suppose that makes up for the minor faults.

Uh. Is this music different to American pop?

It sounds like the same thing, only in a different language. Though perhaps a little more 90s than current American pop.

It's mildly entertaining, but I feel weird about watching a show about high school girls now that I'm not in high school any more.

I'm supposed to be studying, but I decided to procrastinate by watching another episode of this show.

Turns out the episode I watched was about one of the characters failing a test because she was procrastinating too much.

Screw this show for making me feel terrible.

Whether or not Move or Natal will sell to casuals won't have anything to do with how good they actually are. What really matters is the price and the advertising campaign.

Then you are operating under a flawed definition. That is to say, your definition of 'RPG' is wrong.

'RPG' as a video game genre means a game that has a large focus on stat building. That is the definition of 'RPG' as it applies to video games.

'Choice' has never been considered an integral part of 'RPG' games. 'Choice' is more or less a recent invention in the genre. The genre existed before choosing your path in a video game did.

I could say that the term 'RPG' means games that involve two dudes fighting crime, and then argue that a bunch of games don't fall under the definition.

1. Luxembourg and kernalphage present - GhostRider
2. Nekow and J-qb present - I've Got Bigger Fish to Fry
3. M-Vero and Mabelma present - They're Midgets

Anime as a whole doesn't have trouble with anything, because it is far too disparate to talk of as a group. Individual anime might, while others might not.

In any case, refusing to play anything with an anime aesthetic will just make you miss out on some great gems like Final Fantasy VII, or Star Ocean 2.

It has awful art and animation. It is littered with a dis likable and unbearable cast. Oh, btw, it is just like every other Moe~ series. For it is unbelievably annoying, brain damage inducing, drek.

Okay. I can understand why you'd hate the art. I don't understand how you can say it has awful animation. It is a very well animated show.

You're right, infact, they act like a bunch of typical trendy "hardcore gamers" and "anime fan" shit fangirls, who spend all their time acting RANDOM LIKE and IRONIC.

I am a trendy gamer and anime fan. Sometimes I like watching shows about people like me.

Response to: Think you're hardcore? Think again! Posted May 31st, 2010 in Video Games

This guy actively misinterprets what people mean when they say they are a hardcore gamer.

When people say they are 'hardcore' they aren't saying that they appreciate the medium more. They're saying that they play games more. And sometimes they're saying that they play 'hardcore' games.

'Hardcore games' being the 'popcorn fodder spectacles' he describes.

This guy just made up his own definition of a 'hardcore gamer', and then told everyone that they weren't a part of it.

As it stands, hardcore gamer is a meaningless label that describes the sort of person that would use the term 'hardcore gamer' to describe themselves.

Eh, I liked it. What you found unpleasant I found pleasant. It's just one of those things I found very easy to watch, and was a fun way to kill half an hour each week.

And as far as 'moeblob' goes, I wasn't affected in that show. The style of the art is 'moe', but the characters' personalities aren't. There isn't really any of the horrible childish behaviour and nonsense noises that is typical of the shitty kind of 'moe' character (God, I hate those characters).

Most of the time the characters in Lucky Star act like people.

By the way, you implied that you only watched one episode of the show. It took me around six episodes to get into it, and I hated the first episode of the show. I spent the time getting into it because at the time I needed something to do.
