It's a little interesting that films inspire me to make things (that aren't films) more than things from whatever medium I'm using, I guess.

Does it have to be breasts, or can it be any of the more salacious parts of the human body?

Manga Studio is pretty easy to use.

It's a little hard to get used to if you're used to something like Photoshop or whatever because the layout's a bit different, but I doubt it'd take too long to get the hang of it.

If that's what you want to do, I'd offer Manga Studio as the best program for doing the lines.

Though perhaps colouring would best be done in another program.

While I agree with the idea of not being hostile to anyone who asks for anything, and regret my part in messing with that thread, I don't think this is quite the same thing.

I don't think most people have a problem with the idea of collaboration, so much as a more one-sided "I want you to do something for me" sort of arrangement. Obviously not every artistic project has to be framed by an employer/employee relationship. Making an album cover for someone to better advertise their album, however, is not a collaboration.

Why would you think doing art for money is 'whoring' yourself?

It's as much 'whoring' yourself as doing any other job for money is 'whoring' yourself.

"If you're okay with whoring your ability to process tax returns for money..."
"If you're okay with whoring your ability to give medical advice for money..."
"If you're okay with whoring your ability to flip burgers for money..."

People need money to live.

That wasn't what I was asking. I know why some people do things without pay.

I was wondering why people think they're entitled to ask that of strangers. Why they think that they're important enough that they can just ask strangers to give up their time and skill for their own personal profit endeavours.

Response to: Make me a logo...thing? Posted November 25th, 2012 in Art

This isn't specifically about you, but I'm curious.

What is it about the internet that causes people to feel entitled to ask strangers to just do things for them, for no compensation?

Following the information I've listed and if necessary some corrections and changes, cause I'm kinda picky, lol.
Also, keeping the same art style as the Colonel pictures.

I'd do it for you for $50.

That's because you're asking people to do something that they should be paid for, and not offering to pay them. If you ante up some cash, you might garner some interest.

This thread is about the fun of seeing different characters in different styles, and individual artists challenging themselves to create art. It's not for people to think that they then own whatever product people make, and you shouldn't ask people to draw anything in it with those aspirations.
