That's really not true.

The people who argue that the Wii has terrible graphics, and the people that argue that graphics don't matter are different groups of people.

I don't think I've ever played a Final Fantasy game where I've felt the need to grind to finish the main story.

I've never quite understood how people can like JRPGs but not like Final Fantasy.

I mean, JRPGs are all fundamentally the same.

But the Final Fantasy series seems to be one of the only series in JRPGs that tries anything particularly interesting with the storyline.

Wait, he liked Final Fantasy VII and then didn't like the later ones?

I thought that when it came to hating the later entries in the series, people only did that when they thought it stopped being good at FFVI.

I'd expect that if he didn't like the 3D Final Fantasies, he probably won't like Final Fantasy XIII. As far as I can tell, Final Fantasy XIII is just going to be another extension of what they've been trying to do with the series in the post-SNES era.

Because it's so obvious that Final Fantasy XIII will be great that there's nothing to discuss about it.

Unless you want a club full of people going:
"Final Fantasy XIII will be so great."
"How great will it be?"
"Probably pretty great. I mean, Square haven't let me down so far with regards to single player Final Fantasy games in the main series. Sure there have been a couple that weren't quite so good, but that's only compared to other Final Fantasies and they are still very good games in their own right."

There's very little that's going to persuade me from buying it as soon as I can. I'm confident enough that I'll like it that I haven't even bothered to read anything about it.

Other than that, it seems like the standard turn-based affair that you see in most Bioware games.

I've already played those two games, why on Earth would I want to play them again?

Zelda games are all about puzzle solving. If I remember how to solve all the puzzles, the game suddenly becomes a lot less fun.

I'd much rather play an all new Zelda game.

Really? Then I can write the first Pico/Darnell slash fiction?

That's amazing.

---

It was a dark and stormy night. Very dark, and very stormy like a painting depicting a night that is in the middle of a thunderstorm.

Pico opened the door, his clothes dripping with water from the aforementioned storm. He took a few steps inward and stopped in his tracks.

"Oh hello Darnell," exclaimed Pico, "I didn't see you there with no pants on. And also no shirt on."
"Yes hello Pico," said Darnell gayly, "oh my, look at you. You look like a really wet person. Let's get you out of those clothes and into my anus."
"You mean, like, sex?" inquired Pico.
"I mean exactly that." said Darnell, matter of factly.
"But what about Nene?" asked Pico, remembering that Nene is also a character associated with Newgrounds.
"What about Nene? If you know what I mean." responded Darnell.

Pico smiled wryly. He knew exactly what Darnell meant. Darnell meant that Pico and him were going to have sex with each other, and Pico understood that. It was very romantic.

"Mphhmphmphmphm" said Pico, with Darnell's massive eight inch cock in his mouth.
"What was that?" questioned Darnell.
"I said, I-" began Pico, but he was cut off when Darnell forced his nine inch cock down Pico's tight throat.

Pico's gag reflex was triggered. The pack of oreos he ate for lunch came gushing out of his stomach like a waterfall, only backwards and with vomit rather than water. Darnell's seven inch dick was covered in partially digested food and bile. He felt a burning sensation, both figuratively and literally. He was taken aback, and in a moment of surprise he allowed his bladder to relax. Steamy urine filled Pico's mouth, and he drunk it like a young calf sucking on his mother's teet. He plunged Darnell's urinating dick back into his mouth and sucked it dry, the urine and vomit in his mouth forming a green fluid that flowed from his lips.

The sensation was too much for Darnell who always had a fetish for this kind of thing but was too afraid to tell anyone. Semen gushed out of the tip of his penis like semen does anyone else's penis, only moreso because he was so turned on. The semen, urine and bile formed a healthy concoction that Pico happily guzzled.

The two collapsed on the floor, naked and in a pool of their own bodily liquids.

"I love you, Darnell," muttered Pico.
"What?" asked Darnell.
"I said I love you!" Pico yelled and plunged his lips onto Darnells, and the two locked in sweet embrace.

A taste overwhelmed Darnell at that moment. It was the taste of love.

The end.

Hah, well it looks more like a car now but this thing is crazy.

Now that it's gone past the realms of impractical and into 'comically ridiculous', I like the design a lot more. It's just so crazy it's like a parody of a steampunk design. It's like the sort of design the bumbling scientist would come up with and have explode on him, leaving his face covered in soot.

What is with that massive cog? It's like its only function is to screw up the back wheels and make the thing fall over.

Workers as good as sat inside the cogs working and steering. kids were inside the machinery checking if it was okay, and the machines didn't have covers; They were just some sticks with cogs and engines inside.

I've seen cars made during the industrial revolution, man. They had bottoms.

Steampunk can be as unpractical as you want it to be. Wouldn't you for instance make a house on the ground floor?

I would totally make a floating house if I could. That is totally awesome.

Rule of cool comes into play here.

It's supposed to have the ridiculous factor when it's really awesome.

E.g. having a sentient robot powered by steam and clockwork is really awesome.

Having levers instead of a steering wheel is not really awesome.

Is that a boiler made out of wood? Why would a boiler be made out of wood?

For all purposes that would be incredibly impractical.

And why does the car have no bottom? These people in your fictional 19th century surely have some eye for safety don't they?

If I sat in the driver's seat in your car my legs would be mashed by the chain situated directly below the seat.

Also, people built steam powered cars. Those cars had something that looked somewhat like a steering wheel in order to move the front wheel around. Levers is rather an impractical way of manoeuvring a car. That's a little better suited to something like a train.
