Here's a really good guide to mastering macro, which is basically all you need for the lower leagues.

This helps a lot, since in the lower leagues (at least in bronze, so far) it's all low tier unit spam. Apparently it's like that up to diamond/platinum leagues, but I haven't left bronze league yet since it gets boring with the same old shit every game and I have gotten a little bored of it.

I've been playing protoss, I'm still pretty bad. However, I haven't played since I've been looking up more strategies (the only reason is that I haven't had access to my good computer). I definitely wish I played Starcraft more a while back, so I'm making up for that now by playing more Starcraft.

I'd rather just have decent gameplay, rather than graphics.

Practice League Games are slower than usual, and it makes Starcraft 2 so much more enjoyable.

I haven't play in the regular version ladder, but from what I read it plays in at the "faster" speed.

I bought it, it's not worth the 50 bucks I paid. It's not bad, the story is pretty cool and it's fun up to the parts with stealth (I don't mind stealth missions, but some of it is completely unrealistic, in relation to you killing one guy silently with a knife and everyone in the whole subway comes to rape you and it's extremely frustrating at some points. If it had online I think it would be worth it.
