Nothing like this happened to me, but i have experienced something exactly like it with my little cousins.

So my grandad died like 2 years ago, and all my family were over at his house on the day he passed away. So i go out into the back garden where i found my little cousins, one age 4 the other one 3, running around in circles laughing. When i asked them what they were doing they said "papa's chasing us around the garden", that kinda freaked me out.

Note: papa is a word we use over here for grandad, dunno if you use it in the US.
