1. recognize the legislative power of the people to make laws
2. permit the people to amend the constitution by holding two successive elections, more than six months but less than one year apart
3. sanction the election for The National Initiative permitting the enactment of the Democracy Amendment and the Democracy Act (*),
4. create the Electoral Trust to administer the procedures established by the Democracy Amendment and Act,
5. outlaw the use of funds from non-natural persons (for example corporate funds) in initiative elections under this article, and
6. outlaw non-natural persons (for example corporations) from sponsoring initiatives under this article.

And to the rest of you guys, it's just another way to make sure our voices are heard, it still leaves the rest of the government intact and unchanged. Basically we would go from three branches of government to four, and they would continue balancing each other out. I do realize that it could go bad, but they do have measures to keep people with lots of money from sponsoring initiatives. But like i said, just read up on it.

Well, most people have some common sense, and the laws would still have to hold up to the supreme courts and can still be vetoed by the president I THINK. Just visit the site and read up on it. I think politicians are out more for themselves and don't necessarily vote for the interests of the people.

Sorry for the triple post guys, i forgot to mention that if you can vote in a state election NOW, you can go to the website and vote NOW. They need around 65,000,000 votes lol.

The National Initiative adds an additional check -- the People -- to our system of checks and balances, while setting up a working partnership between the People and their elected representatives.

Voting "yes" means that you are for the Democracy Amendment and Democracy Act
Voting "no" means that you are against the Democracy Amendment and Democracy Act

(*) This legislation will be considered enacted when the number of affirmative votes is greater than half the total number of government-validated votes cast in the presidential election occurring immediately prior to this election's certification.

i doubt it's the connection, i think it may have been caused because my internet disconnected itself for some unknown reason and i had to correct it. It is still happening by the way, so I need a fix still.

yea my m-audio keystation 49 has been giving problems allthough the problem is completely different. My only advice would be to call costomoer support. They had almost solved my keyboard problem, but when the keyboard was fixed something happened that made my computer crash every so often so i had to system restore and now i have to call them again because my keyboard no longer works.
