I honestly think that whenever the crazy christians/catholics that have boners for jesus do serious crimes like that, the inner insanity they have that drives them to do those things is seen to them as "satans mind control". The senile, hickish, and/or guilible all believe that their own mental faults have been caused by a non-existant evil force.
The people that tell the unfortunate ones that "satans power will overcome you if you dont believe in god" are known as the Catholic Church.
The church has a little scam, called the catholic faith. If you believe in god and the coming of Jesus Christ and worship them and spend your life praising them, you will go to heaven. In addition, you must also reject all evils from your life( seven deadly sins, satan), and when sins are commited you must confess them to a priest.
However, the churches need money, so every week they ask for small donations from every member/family that attends the church. At first, the donations dont seem like much, but after awhile, the churches sit on large sums of money. They tell you the money goes to charity and special events, but you dont really know for sure do you?
But hey, for believing in one of the thousands of religions out there, you just helped a few people become incredibly rich with your own pocket money combined with the millions of others' money.
Many of the members of the Catholic church have yet to realize this, its pretty sad.
