It's funny that today the contest is announced because my brother just came to me with a great idea for an FPS iRL game, and I was like "Nice, but hold onto that for the next Armorgames contest"

Response to: Few Animating questions Posted January 1st, 2007 in Game Development

i would recommend the brush but its up to you. and about drawing with the mouse, just practise and you will become comfortable and efficient with the it, but if you truely aren't having it, i suggest you just draw basic stick figures, or even lines so you become familiar with pacing, timing and overal motion, that way you'll have an idea if animation is something you are willing to invest 100 bucks in to buy a tablet and step it up.

Some awesome games. Hopefully I'll be able to finish up FPS iRL 5 by Thursday for this contest. And I really wish Johnny would stop crying about "wasting 6 hours" disguising his old engine as a new game in hopes to just sneak into a money winning rank.

Response to: Would you like to be a mod? Posted October 21st, 2006 in General

I've been a member of newgrounds for a long time now, and I may not be exceptionally active on the BBS, but I'm always working on something to submit to the portal or browsing through the top recent 50. I think being a review mod would suit me well. Thats all

Response to: Are games underappreciated? Posted September 2nd, 2006 in Game Development

I just made my first game the other week and I know what you mean, on the other hand, games tend to get more sponsorships, so cry about it on your way to the bank? I think people should account for the programming, just like they should take into consideration artists who do their own music.

I'm not much of a B/P person, but thats what I figured most people did.

Front page Posted September 1st, 2006 in Game Development

Just an observation, and recently a concern, movies scores on the frontpage tend to signifigantly go down. Why do you think that is, is it that movies get a big boost of easy 5's when they go through judgement cause of all the B/P kids and people tend to vote more critically when it's on frontpage, or people just down vote movies with high scores, or do you think the score doesn't really go down? What are your thoughts.

When you go to submit content and it asks "entry type" the two options are "Movie" and "Game/Interactive" I may not have been a game by your standards; however, it was with out a doubt an interactive.
Congrats to Rtil, and he shouldn't have to defend himself against false accusations of hypocrism. But I do support Swain's work aswell.

I'm gonna be pretty busy for a while with a lifeguarding job, so I'm probably not going to be able to make another one for awhile, sorry. But I hope to do a quicky, I just got a bunch of super mario sound effects and a few people have suggested a platformer in real life, so we'll see...
