Topic: Tweening something bigger

Posted: 01/20/08 11:40 PM

Forum: Flash

When I tween an object to change it's size...A circle for example. I always change the size manually by dragging the square surrounding the symbol bigger or smaller. This works great and it's what I've always been doing but sometimes its height or width gets affected badly. Is there a way I can just input info like "become 150% bigger" ?

Is it? I've no clue. I'm writing a script intended for all audiences so I need to know. The exact lines are:

TEENAGER #1

Yeah ha ha. Ooh, the bushman's gonna come take you away!

TEENAGER #3

Ha ha. Bushman! Bushman!

tell me newgrounds. I must knooow.

Topic: "The scariest moment of my life"

Posted: 01/11/08 07:45 PM

Forum: General

ok here's the deal, crackhead. The most scariest moment of my life was about 4-5 years ago during the summer. My friends and I discovered a hole in this fence behind a shopping mall. The grass was really high, about up to our waists. There were tons of beer bottles on the ground too. Anyway, a train ran through the middle of it and it just happened to slow down when it got to the area we were at. We started jumping on and off, thinking we were really cool. This was probably one the most dangerous things I've ever done. I'm hardcore huh? One day, with the same friends, the train didn't come for a while so we walked along the tracks and when it finally did come, it was going faster than usual. One of my friends, not being the sharpest of the bunch, decided to jump on. The train was too fast and when he tried to grab on, he feel face forward. From my perspective and due to the tall grass, it looked like his head feel directly under the rails. My heart stopped. Five seconds later he got up and he was smiling. That was the most terrifying moment of my entire life and it certainly felt like more than five seconds. So that's the scariest event of my life. This is all true, I wouldn't be gaining anything by wasting 5 minutes typing this up onto the internet.

I liked Superbad, but Juno doesn't seem like my type of film.

Then maybe it's not. Some guys can be turned off from the empowering lead female role.

Republican-y? If I recall, Hillary is the only 08 candidate who is anti-video games.

I mean his technique. Republicans tend to shed light on one single piece of a much larger puzzle and force a black and white view onto America based on it. Like, since somewere in the bible, some passage can be interpreted to mean "don't be gay", republicans exploit that and claim that if you're gay, you're not a man of god. In this case, the author of the thread claims that videogames are pointless because they don't affect history overall. This is very true but he neglected to show the bigger piece of the puzzle and say that that rule applies to virtually everything else as well.

Ross, would you possible consider making it a little bit darker? I personally find the grey to just blend in to NG's background and it creates a dull effect IMO. I do like it though. Does anyone else think the same way?

It just strikes me that there wouldn't be a single parent here on NG. This place is comprised of tweens, teens, and in betweens. If there are, stop neglecting your child because any parent who spends their day on newgrounds can't be a very good one!
