I hate these things with a passion. They annoy the hell out of me and I whine to my friends about them constantly. People tell you not to let them ruin your life but they have significantly ruined parts of high school for me. They cut my gums always and I nevr forget that they're there. I'm going to be the happiest man alive when they come off.

That's the opposite of me. I know life will feel incomplete if I just enjoy the conveniences others have sacrificed time out of their life for. It's not that I feel I owe the world anything. We as the human race don't have any outstanding purpose and no answer to the meaning of life so now that civilization has been established all we can do is improve it. But personally, I want to add to that improvement and do my absolute best. People say they don't care if they're forgotten after death but once you're dead all that enjoyment flickers away but your achievements in life will remain and especially so if they're great enough to add enjoyment to other peoples lives. So I feel that people should go down the path of improving and improving even if it ends with the very thing we are trying to achieve but avoid for ourselves which is pure enjoyment.
