Not something like "Wade" or "Tom" (LOL) but something like Sherman or Benjamin. I don't know the character yet, but it might help if you consider having an imaginary conversation with him (I know it sound weird.) and whatever you feel best calling him, that's what you should name him.
Here's another thought, go onto one of those Baby name websites and choose a name based on it's meaning that reflects him.
I agree with the two-three syllable thing, it just feels right. The baby namer is definitely a unique idea but I'm looking for something out of the ordinary and cartoony. I don't know how well it'll do on that end.
(lol @ Tom & Wade, nice use of resources)

Considering that you want to use him for an animation, a decision on his name should be the least of your problems (character, ease of animation, etc.)
The main reason I wanted him named is because I wanted to have a title card featuring him, similar to "Happy Harry Toons" for example, and having him named would help with a picture/theme for that card. I should have mentioned that earlier I suppose.

Well the whole thing is a frame by frame animation with a crap-ton of frames already done, but I can see what I can do. (I'm lazy, but I'm also a perfectionist [FYI: not a good combo] but I may get to changing it)
Also, kickass. Monochrome isn't an easy style to achieve. I've even seen shit have small hints of gray in a cheatful manner.
Thank you sir, I'm glad to see that you approve! And you can see a more complete frame of the scene on my page to get an idea of what's going on.
And regarding his personality: I always thought of him as slightly mischievous, not unlike Bitey of Brackenwood, but less over the top and more passive.
He is the character I plan on using for my future animations, but I never named him.
I have 1 vote each for Twiggle and Kupo.
What do you guys want to name him?
The person with my favorite choice gets an honorable mention in my upcoming animation "The Not So Silent Night" which will hopefully be complete in a month's time.

Yes please. I'll listen to any and all songs suggested
The main character in my animation is kind of a goofball, so I want a kind of twangy song for him walking through the snow. This one has a similar style to what I'm looking for:
http://www.legends-station.com/mml1/musi c/17-ReflectionRoom.mp3
but I want it to better fit the scene in the picture below.
If anyone has anything similar to what I have described, I'd love to hear it and maybe use it in my upcoming flash movie "The Not So Silent Night" (picture taken from movie)
What do you guys think is an appropriate canvas size for an animation? Nothing too small or too big. Pixel dimensions would be appreciated.
I'm looking to animate my little picture seen here:

Not going to lie, I've had a bunch of people tell me I should try voice acting. So yeah, I'm going to practice recording and seeing how I sound to myself, but I figured it's something new I can try to get the days to pass by.
And to he who posted the NG Wiki page: Thanks, it was indeed helpful!
Thanks for the tips everyone!
Alright, condenser mic, thank you sirs! Does anyone else have any helpful tips or tricks?
Does anyone have any good techniques I could use for recording audio? Whenever I get around to animating a few ideas I have, I wanted to do most of the voice-overs myself. Right now the only microphone I have is on my Turtle Beach PX21 headset. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

You'll have to forgive me if my name reflects someone you are familiar with, All names, likenesses and characters used are entirely fictitious and purely coincidental.
So, really? Was that really necessary? What did that dog do to him? IMO, the punishment should be equal to the crime, he should be set on fire; and Iamsofuckingcool: you are a monster.

Although this would be keeping in Clock tradition (I'm looking at you Strawberry), if I were to submit something for the 10th anniversary, I would try to make it worthwhile.
I have never participated in any previous NG holiday but was curious about this one. Do the submissions have to be related to the clock crew? or just clock related in general?
Great Scott!!! It worked, thank you kindly sir!
I've been experimenting with a few user page header designs, so naturally I've been changing it somewhat frequently. My problem arises when I try to upload one that is in .jpg format. My first page header was honestly pretty ugly, and when I try to change my current one with a .jpg file, it reverts back to my original page header. So I am forced to use a .gif, which, let's be honest here, doesn't have the same quality as a .jpg.
Any insight on this issue?

It can't be all bad can it? Obviously everyone has to start somewhere; surely there must be at least a few diamonds in the ruff?
I would submit this one to the art portal, but I think this would be considered sketch work:

Colored "Love is Pain" sketch:
Here is a (poor) attempt at coloring a scan of one of my drawings:
This was my first "quality" attempt at art in Fireworks:
I made this one pixel by pixel and was planning on using the hobo as a mascot for any animations I may do in the future:
The octopus is my favorite creation so far:
Keep in mind too that the images in black and white are hand drawn, so flaws will appear to the well-trained eye:
I'll be posting a few of my pieces in this thread. I just want to know if you guys think these are good enough to keep working on. These can (mostly) also be found on my page:

That is a very good reason :P I was mainly just curious about potentially solving the problem for everyone, not just myself. I hate when people ruin the fun for everyone.
Another side note (Off-topic): I met Wade once at a Gamestop I worked at, he seemed like a pretty cool guy.
A user has "commented" on my news post 9 times, within an hour's time, with the same link about a downloadable pornographic video:
http://acolecovision.newgrounds.com/news /post/608425
and I want to know how to report him so he won't do it to anyone else. I know I can ban him from posting on my page, but will that alert any of the mods to his potentially malicious activities?
Side note: I remember banning another user at one point from posting the same link on another of my news posts. I checked out both profiles and both say they are a student from St. Louis, Mo, so I have reason to believe that these accounts are the same person harassing me for some unknown reason.
How can I stop this type of harassment?
(I have decided to withhold the names of the accused unless contacted by a mod for fear of potential backlash)
