When I try to do a Scottish accent, half the time it turns Irish, so I'd give this a go. If I had a sample line or two...

When I was advertising for parts, I just wrote a quick line, so you don't have to post actual lines from your movie.

As for downloading Audacity:

Windows: http://audacity.sour..net/download/windows
click the Recommended download "Audacity 1.2.3 installer (.exe file, 2.4 MB)". Also be sure to download "LAME MP3 encoder" under Optional Downloads. So you can save as MP3 instead of Wav, using the Export as MP3 command.

Still looking for roles for my Kingdom Hearts sprite movie.

Email acelister@gmail.com with a recording of any of the following lines:
Sora: "What do you mean we're outta gas?!"
Donald: "Well Goofy filled the tank!"
Goofy: "Ah knew ah fergot somethin'..."

Yuffie: "I like to ninja ninja, I like to... Ninja!"
Kairi: "You're scaring Sora..."

Niftykoala is Mickey and Leon and I have a possible Yuffie... But parts havn't exactly been snatched up...

The "Anime Voice" is more drawn out than a cartoon voice. Watch Piccollo from Dragonball Z and then watch Wolverine from X-men Evolution. It's because they have to match thier words to the flaps (lip movements) so it doesn't look stupid. And since most Japanese sentances are longer than English sentances, you get an "Anime style".

This explaination brought to you by Acelister Explains, a subsidry of Acelister Inc.

What's with all the recent posts asking how to record a sample? Failing everything, Windows has a Sound recorder so you can save it as a WAV.

Nice work on FF Redux, btw.

Sounds good.

Mental, I'll get something done in the morning (it's 9:43pm here) and email it to you.

As for my Kingdom Hearts Flash, I have need for more voices. Yuffie, Leon and Kairi (or however you spell it...).
Practice Lines Scenario:
Yuffie: "I like to ninja ninja, I like to... Ninja!"
Leon: "Please don't do that..."
Kairi: "You're scaring Sora..."

Ripway lets you upload 5MB I think? So you probably saved it as a WAV. You need to choose the "Export as MP3" option if you're using Audacity. Then it will be much smaller.

But like Buster said, if it's still too big, you recorded too much. You only need 30 seconds to a minute of talking, depending on how fast you talk and how much you want to say.

Is there anyone who can do voices from Kingdom Hearts? I'll need Sora, Donald and Goofy. And Mickey Mouse

Word of warning though, I know there are people who don't like Sprite based animations, and that's what it's going to use, so... You have been warned.

Email acelister@gmail.com with a recording of any of the following lines:
Sora: "What do you mean we're outta gas?!"
Donald: "Well Goofy filled the tank!"
Goofy: "Ah knew ah fergot somethin'..."
Mickey: "Are we there yet?"

Those lines won't be in the movie but I figure they will give me an idea of how well you can do the voice. Male or female, depends on how well you can do the voice. Still being made, so you have plenty of time to audition.

As for my favorite Flash, as of earlier today, it is House Of M: Part 1 by Matt Gardner. Love it.

But then it would be efficient and allow people to actually *gasp* voice act! O_o;

And why would we want to do that? That's crazy talk, that is! *Hands out Flame Retardent Jackets* If someone flames, it's for seeking attention.

YOU ALL SMELL! *Skips into a nearby forest, wearing a tu-tu*
