Other than the AP US Gov test I took today, I also took AP Comparative Gov right after today as well. I actually found US Gov to be fairly easy, although some of the free response stuff was rather difficult.

To study I looked through old released AP Gov tests, and after taking a few, I figured out that College Board pretty much rehashes about 50% of the multiple-choice material in each exam. Marbury v Madison question? Check. Definition of Federalism question? Check. Separation of powers question? CHECK.

No wonder they tell you after the test that the multiple-choice question must NEVER be discussed EVER, FOR THE REST OF YOUR NATURAL BORN LIFE-they can't come up with much new material to actually add :p

Here's an old copy-paste:

Any type of graphics software can create a signature image. Some more popular software includes Photoshop, Fireworks, Paint Shop Pro, Flash, and many more.

If you are looking for a good free program for signature creation, there are also many options available, such as Gimp, Paint.NET, Photofiltre, etc.

For more options, see List of Raster Graphics Editors.

If you would rather someone make a signature for you, requests should be placed in the Newgrounds Sig Makers thread.

Taking finals now, which for me are mostly AP tests. Six of them.

Took two today, and am completely exhausted. My hand also hurts from writing some many free response answers, which is annoying.

I have AP Spanish tomorrow, which shall be my DEATH. Seriously, if I do well on this test, it'll be a miracle. So much for placing out of any language requirement. Wednesday is AP Calculus BC, thursday is AP English Literature, and then I quick a short break until next tuesday, when I have to take AP Psychology. I don't think I'll even be able to raise my right hand after that :(

Whew! But honestly, I like taking finals when I know the material well enough. When you're taking a test you're not in class (always a good thing), and if I actually know what I'm doing (such as in Calculus), the test actually becomes FUN.

Yes, that's right. That's why I'm taking six AP tests this year: they're FUN to take. Only downside: headaches and handaches.

Insulting the mod team is not a surefire way to being modded. Neither is not reading the FAQ, being arrogant, or annoying administrators. You have failed the test.

Actually, this is one of the few medal games that does not lag for me. A Bad Taste of Pico, Epic Battle Fantasy, and Thing Thing Arena 3 all lag on my computer to the point the games are virtually unplayable.

Perhaps your computer just needs a restart? I know if a Flash game is getting slow that usually helps me.

It's random spam sent to any person the spammer can find in order to get some kind of reaction.

Also is there anyway of him geting banned for being really stupid?

Just use your PM block button so you didn't give spammers any more attention. Finally, improve your thread titles in the future.

At 4/29/09 07:05 PM, TheNamesDarkly wrote: So was college hard for you? The courses and the work was it hard?

Although I am not in college (yet), what I have learned from talking to others who are in college is that it really depends on what you make of it.

You could decide to do some kind of double/triple/quadruple major and give yourself tons on work, or you could take easy classes or the bare minimum required and barely work at all. Your answer will vary depending on who you ask, and thus I don't believe definitive "yes or no" answers will be too helpful.

I'd say that's true for most colleges or majors, but perhaps not so much in majors like engineering, math, science (Physics, Chemistry, etc), where it's probably a bit harder to bullshit your way through.

If you want information on college I suggest you check out the College Life Club, or read through the threads on this forum, which has lots of interesting information.

I may go, although it depends on my high school graduation ceremony, as I believe it's on the same day.

Even so, I still might show up assuming the ceremony isn't too long, I'm not planning to do anything immediately following graduation, and this Wizardcon thing starts in the afternoon and goes on long enough.

But I can take the subway there from school in about 15 minutes, so maybe I'll show up, black robes and diploma in all ;)

Yep.

No need to consolidate the forum into a single thread, as it's completely pointless, harder to maintain, and won't be seen by most people anyway.

If you want to help people find things here, great; wait until they come along and ask for help in the forum.

Assuming you're confused that the number of blammed entries is greater than the number submitted, then recall that the "blammed entries" count includes entries deleted yesterday as well, many of which may not have actually been submitted yesterday.

Topic: Ideas for Newgrounds' Evolution MK3

Posted: 04/20/09 08:17 PM

Forum: Where is / How to?

Small, but useful, BBS suggestion:

Link the BBS "Post Reply" page to the thread being replied to.

The current set-up tells me the name of the thread I'm posting in and links to the forum the thread is located, the BBS forum index, and the Newgrounds home page. However, there is no link to the thread itself (there is the id # in the URL when clicking "reply to post", but not with "reply with quote")

Sometimes I use Google to find BBS threads and find results for the "Post Reply" page rather than the thread itself, or I'll leave the "post reply" page open, and want to get back to the thread without having to post (especially if I've opened the "Post Reply" window in a new tab/window, so no back button for me) or go searching for the thread.

I would find it very convenient, and it would seem to be something easy to implement. Example:

In iTunes, go to iTunes > Preferences > General Tab

Find where it says "When you insert a CD" and click "Import Settings..." Then where it says "Import Using," click on the drop down tab and select "MP3 Encoder." Press OK.

Then follow the steps listed above again.

In GarageBand, go to File > Export to iTunes.

Once the song is in iTunes, right-click (or control-click) on the song, and select "Create MP3 Version." Then right-click on the song you've just created (the .mp3 format one), and select "Show in Finder."

Then drag the song to your desktop or anywhere else you want, so you can find it easily to upload to Newgrounds.
