Books and Film are not entirely different mediums. In terms of story structure most mainstream literature and film are practically identical.

People will always compare adaptation to the original source as authenticity and accuracy are two main markers of success for such films.

Well I have had sex since being off the pill, and the guy used a condom, and it was no less enjoyable for him (or me) because of it. Talking about contraceptives. I took the contraceptive pill Mycrogynon for 4 months.(then the relationsip terminated pun intended) The side effects were dreadful. I became depressed (suicidal), all of the weight i'd lost over 6 months piled back on and i still can't shift it. I had sky high blood pressure, migraine, in fact the only bonuses were lighter periods.

But now, having come off it, I have crippling cramp, (not going into any more details about my menstruation i am making a point though) and now i have increased both my chances of become infertile (through pcos) and breast and or ovarian cancer. All because my lover refused to wear a condom.

Unless a baby is being planned. Men should wear a condom (or women wear a femidon). No women should jeapordise her health for a selfish man, and the results of failure of both methods would be the same, condoms are safer, eeasier to use, and more accesable, so why wont men wear them?

Is it right that, politics should intefere with athletics? Do China's actions taint the Olympic message? Should we ( Europe, and America) consider boycotting the games? Or will the Olympics put pressure on China to imporve their Human rights record?

On the last BBC news broadcast, it was announced, The opposition MDC (movement for democratic change) believe Mugabe is planning to use th emilitary to stay in power. This could just be the opposition making trouble, but given Mugabe's track record, I back the MDC on this one. I generally would not advocate international interference, but we have gone to war for less.

Personally, I feel that homosexuality can be a choice, any sexuality potentially could be, but not always. So, in the case of Peadophelia, it could be a choice, and if that's the case these people are fit for nothing but condemnation.
