ok... i'm gonna try it later but i don't think it is hitTest with Flagshapes(that _x,_y,true in the bracket) so the results would be horrible for non square shapes though i'm not totally sure, i'll wait for some replies anyways thanx for help

as the title says i am having two movie clips on main stage one called "land" and other called "char" inside "char" MC i have another MC called "ht1" i want to make hitTest between "ht1" and "land" but everything seems to fail, i've tried using _root, _parent , and every other possible combination can someone please help?

i know the effect, isaw it in the game 'THE VISITOR' also liked it, for that i think you must have flash 8 or more for the glowing effect etc.I am unfortunate that i have Flash MX, but still trying to make it in flash MX
