funkycaveman - Great menu. I was thinking of trying in making one too , but the one you just showed is perfect! good job man.

51lver - Im not the leader of this collab , so I wont say whats good and whats not. But two weapons flying and touching isnt enough for a good score. Try to make some cracks on weapons or something else to make it more fun.

K-Guare - I totally agree with you, imagine 30 parts ,well , lets say 20 parts of 2 weapons fightning... Boring!

Strangelyspammed - Try harder man. Add gradient for your background. Try harder on those ''flowers''. Im sure u ccould make a better looking bat ... Add shading , details.

Zerobeam - Hi.

Im almost done with my animation ( for most of it ) and i'll show it tomorow or tonight to get some comments and suggestions.

Thanks.
AAF.

I really like the idea funkycaveman.
Cant wait to see the menu too.

I didnt make any major update on my part yet, too much stuff going on!!

Response to: The Ng Level Collab Posted July 8th, 2008 in Game Development

51lver, you should show us your animation. We could give you comments and ideas on how to make it better ( if its not perfect already :P ).

Don't stress it, take your time.

Response to: The Ng Level Collab Posted July 8th, 2008 in Game Development

Any comment on my part Zerobeam?

I added some stuff to it , it should be really nice. ( not completed yet )

I've also started to think about my second animation, wich may be really different from this one. Ill let you know by PM.

Thanks, AAF.

Here it is, ill stop working on it and ill show you what I have done. The sound doesnt fit , it's just to give ya an idea. Also , the arm move is a bit sloppy , but I cant find a way to fix it ... This will only be for my first level ( the axe one ).

Ill accept any comments of any kind!

Zrb - Really nice mini-game. I really liked the idea and since not everyone know every level , they may just vote 5 cause of it ... :P

51lver - Really nice Background, could be really usefull for menu or just a normal bg.

Posting a part later tonight, im always at jobs or with friends so its pretty hard to submit it. I have to go eat right now.

CIAO ~

I will post the beginning of my animation tonight.

Do you think I can make 2 little ( like 20seconds ) part for my 2 levels. I dont want to make another ''fight'' animation. And what I have so far is pretty original. Ill show you later tonight anyway.

Also, I think some animation i've seen yet aren't that great. It shouldnt be icons fight or a sword flying and attacking.

Just my 2 cents!

Response to: The Ng Level Collab Posted July 5th, 2008 in Game Development

Zerobeam, Does it have to be something With the 2 icons included ? Or can I make 2 clips for each of the levels?! For now I have like 10 seconds of a creepy clip about the Axe level. xD

Really Nice collab idea between.

Response to: The Ng Level Collab Posted July 3rd, 2008 in Game Development

Zerobeam, im rarely on the forum but ill still add it, it may help us get 1 member! who know!

Response to: Sound effect Posted May 23rd, 2008 in Game Development

any1 can just at least give me sites where i could search ? I lost the thread where all the sites were listed

Sound effect Posted May 23rd, 2008 in Game Development

I need a ~5sec sound that would fit a episode presentation, like theres a scene, then we see the title. Something that would fit with that.

Response to: Background help - lil question Posted May 1st, 2008 in Game Development

Did you make sure that the advanced menu was being displayed? If you did, it should be right below identifier. And yes, the first frame or any frame you want the effect to be displayed for that matter.

When I right something in it say ''this is not supported by AS2'' ( I have CS3 but I made a AS2 file )

Response to: What do you think of this game?? Posted February 14th, 2008 in Game Development

5. The Identifier should read spark. Enter Spark into the AS 2.0 class area.

6. To add a spark at the mouse's position, use this code:

s = attachMovie("spark","s",getNextHighestDe pth())
s.init(_xmouse,_ymouse)

Where is the AS2.0 class area your talking about? also, is the ''on mouse'' AS going on the first frame?

Response to: Simple Frame Actions Posted February 13th, 2008 in Game Development

AS2 stop(); action is just the simple stop(); on first frame and it should stop. no number or anything.

Make sure you are in AS2, im not even sure that action even exist in AS3
