I know you were looking for critiques, sorry, I just love this picture. The only thing I could think of is a back ground. I would suggest sticking with the same color scheme the back drop has going. Not too much contrast. Again, LOVE the work!

thx man, i love yours too. i was going to go with a fully robotic girl but changed it 1/2 way through.

i really like the pose and the "high-tech" feel of it, gj

thanks for the support :D

i started a thing for robot day, realized about 20 minutes ago that is was july 10th, not june 10th...
so i got another month to fix it up abit more and add a background

or maybe ill do something else altogether..

i wasn't rly going for realism, but it doesn't matter. it was just a 20 min sketch, lol.

anywho, did another painting, it's not 100% done but im totally bored with it.

here's a trendy process img

E.g.

is it really that drastic?

here is the artist im trying to emulate: http://j-scott-campbell.deviantart.com/

what do you suppose i do different?

Response to: sexy womans (probably nsfw) Posted June 4th, 2010 in Art

thanks for the comment.. it's my first time trying out this exaggerated style, still need to get the hang of it. it's tough to maintain the "sexy" when it's so cartoony, and im a terrible judge of my own drawings

anywho.. i cleaned up the indy sketch a bit, im not liking it too much.. ill probably do something else.

i do like the hat tho

Fantastic stuff as always, and I really enjoyed looking at your process work on that painting, you should do some more like that!

great to be back..
it's crazy how much better the artists have gotten since i started lurkin' again

Response to: sexy womans (probably nsfw) Posted June 2nd, 2010 in Art

thx for the comments guys, appreciate it.

the torso does seem a little thin-and too low on the body.

i was getting mixed messages, lol, i don't think everyone meant "waist" as in the waist-line area

ill post a little more work when i get back later today :P

On the first one it seems to work, but on the second one it just feels too thin...

Still pretty sweet arts though. My sexy women tend to have more muscle than sex appeal o.0...

thin like skinny? or thin like thin lines? i am trying to exaggerate the anatomy

That is pretty bad-ass. I'm interested as to how it's put together. I can never get explosion/smoke animations to look like that.

Response to: The Circle Registration Point? Posted April 3rd, 2010 in Animation

Select the symbol, select "transform tool" (this might be "scale" in other versions), then the circle should be highlighted and you can drag it wherever you want.

I remember thinking this was the funniest thing on the internet, probably because I could replay Osama saying fuck over and over.

...and apparently this guy went on to animate those E-surance commercials. Weird..
