It's nice, how the blam/protect system increases the amount of views new flashes get. It's a shame, though, to have a system that rewards people for going with the crowd.

If you have a unique reason for appreciating a flash, the blam/protect system says, ignore it.

Deleting all the entries, fine, you have plenty of fair reasons. It's the "Ooo, free blam point!" people who make me think that Newgrounds has an unhealthy voting system.

On the other hand, if it can motivate a group as big as the CC to get together, hundreds of people learning to animate, sharing their progress and collaborating with each other to create cooperative animations, plan special events and hold contests for the members, then of course Newgrounds is doing well.

I think the Clock Crew is the best testament to Newgrounds around. A real community forged out of the chaos here. Fair play to Clocks.

I have to go to a teacher conference, then do everything in my power to finish this animation in just the few hours between then and 2am!

Here's where I am now

I think you should add more of those robotic arms, maybe with computer screens at the end of them, giving readouts on the construction as it goes.

Maybe even make it a factory - add some treadmills and some tiny little guys running around on the floor!

The game was a bit smoother when it jumped you right in: I don't like starting at the complex settings screen. I think it should start with some default settings already going, very simple.

But there should be a settings tab that can be opened. Here you adjust the basics, and have the performance bar. Also a "HELP" tab that displays all those diagrams. That would help smooth things a lot.

If those sliders changed things real time - modified the settings as they were running on the left - that would be cool. Don't know how feasible that is.

The music is pretty greating, for a game like this, I think something more low-key would be nice. Get something much smoother, or start with the music off by default I think.

Nope, it's not a mic, but a test tube. He's a scientist that's discovered a serum for immortality. As he and his partners take their own concoction, the orbital laboratory is attacked by an orginaization hoping to claim the serum for itself.

Have yet to start the real animating, but this is a start.

You can listen to the whole song - I have the animation fully planned to it.

The student version isn't such a bad price, and you could always try eBay .

I'm so pissed off with flash right now. I feel like having it deleted from the portal and try it again with the better version.

Go for it, man. The version does look rushed, and it's had a ridiculous effect on the score. I'd like to see a more polished version, even if it just replaces the old, instead of being resubmitted.

Mine ends on white, so if you fade in from white, it will transition nicely.
Also, I didn't notice that your name comes in fbf style in the opening until now. That was skill =D

Kingly stuff, snare! I like the blurry effect when the camera moves from the victim to the hunter, and how the moke trails to the left at first then rises up.

Also, I like how you handled the movement of the three background layers, it looked really cool.

Maybe you should modify the orginal movieclip of the first character a little, it looks like it loops kinda abruptly. But it's not very noticable, in any case =)

Thanks for being a good sport about it - it's nothing personal, there's just no room left in the collab, and there hasn't been any room left for weeks.

What does it say?

This is really annoying, my emails messed up =(

Z, should we just start the collab here, or on the flash forum, but not let in stupid people, or set up our own hidden forum?

We can make a thread on Newgrounds - or we could always go back to that forum we made a while ago! I forget the link to it, though =\ =/
