Hi, guys. I have a problem. My iPod Nano (which I've had for less than a year) refuses to turn on when not plugged in to USB. I've tried all the normal stuff - draining the battery and waiting for a few months to try it again, resetting the power supply through diagnostic menu, and even just holding down center and Menu, but nothing will fix it. If I have it on when plugged into USB and unplug it, it turns off immediately and refuses to turn back on. It is not charging.
When I take it to my 'friendly local Apple representative', they say that I have gotten it wet and it will be $60 to fix it, which is complete bullshit.
It's a genuine Apple product and I've tried it with 2 USB cords and 4 USB slots spread over 3 devices.
Help. I've seen this problem with other people too.
P.S. If this helps, it says that it's fully charged. It has the little charged icon in the top right corner and says "Connected", not "Charging."
