Hey! I'm totally into this place. Youtube has shown me WAY LESS results on all of my recent animations than their figures on NG. They get seen here. But not enough. Social networking has basically screwed us over... but maybe if we were all to band together as a community, and get noticed by the mainstream media for doing something huge, we'd stand a shot. Hell, try and get a guinness world record for number of independent animators working on a single project or something silly like that...

With a large group of people we have a louder voice and that may give us more of a chance to be heard!

Think of all the people who have made success out of this website, pull em' back and be like, right, we did you a favour... now it's time for you to help us!

I just made front page for the first time as a solo effort, didn't expect it to as most of my other toons have gone under the radar but a member of the NG staff obviously saw it and featured it. Also putting effort in doesn't mean it'll reach the front page it's got to be good or possess certain qualities that rate it above others. I'm gonna go check your profile out now. Also might want to look into making yourself an icon etc if you're a serious user.

I voted. i've been going to that site for a few weeks now looking at the cool ideas people come up with. If the Behemoth are behind the idea I'm fairly sure it'll get made into a set as the Minecraft team were behind the Minecraft ones!

Hey guys I just made this. I'd like feedback on what works, what doesn't etc. If you don't recognise me it's because I don't post on the forums much, I only started submitting after a 3 year gap at the end of last year... that 3 year gap was called university where I picked up the obvious change in skills from the 2008-2011 period.

I met Coop 2 years running at the NG London meetups so he's the one who let me know of the Review Request club, thought I'd give him a shout out! Cool guy!

Haha. I'm getting that with a few people! There's one person who added me from last years meet, that I probably saw or spoke to briefly, who was also there this time who I didn't recognise or speak to... yet they were there looking back in the photo's.... STRANGE!

Really enjoyed myself, especially singing Tribute and some other random song with Luis on Friday night, left me quite tired for Saturday though so my energy levels kept coming in and out, so I was tired then not...

I REALLY enjoyed playing Pool, think I won about the same amount of games as I lost... Weebl was a terrible doubles partner, but he was very very funny, had a great time getting beat by Eddache/Eddegg (I can't remember which one is the actual username)....

After the terrible doubles match that was constantly abused by Tomska I later kicked his ass at pool, winning Edd his pound back from an earlier game... not entirely sure what went on there.

Also Bez gave me an amazing shoulder massage....

There was also talk of me and Sarah having the first Newgrounds Wedding as we met at last years meet... really puts me in a place of not knowing what to say, except (go and puke now) I've had the best year ever since I met her last year and I hope that we'll return to many NG meets in the future as the happy couple we currently are :D

Ok now I'm gonna shout out to all who I remembered their usernames, then the ones who I can't remember's appearances. Come chat or something on Facebook or PM me or whatever if you wanna keep in touch.

Was such a great day!!! Loved finally meeting Wonchop, and some others who's animations I'd seen. I will definitely be attending the next one and would love to stay in contact with some of you guys and see what you're up to!!!

The Meetup was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

I'm intending to attend. I seem to have missed all previous ones for not knowing. I hardly ever use flash anymore but I still love to watch stuff on NG, also got a few friends from a few years ago who'll most likely be attending.

Think the trouble is that too many Metal Gear parodies have been done so there's not really enough drive for it. Blamformers was so good because the Transformers movie was coming out and there was a lot of childhood memories that sort of... came out. Also, not everyone has played the games.

I've been looking through the posts and I agree with 3 of the suggestions for a new day...

Hey tom, I live in the UK so I don't get G4 but I can download the episodes, I have all the ones you are in so I've seen them. It'd be a good idea to link to downloads of all the episodes you were on for those who missed it when you get round to putting up the page.

Plus I really hope you get the slot to show some of the latest NG Flash, It'd be cool to see something by someone I know or myself on there at some point! (If it does well like one of my earlier submissions)

Ok, judging by all the lovely reviews I got on The Broccoli Collection I submitted earlier this week, It is Quite clear that Broccoli: The Movie is wanted, So.... Here's your chance to contribute towards it in some way!

What you have to do...

You have to Animate Broccoli in a parody of a scene from your favourite film (doesnt have to be favourite just a film you like).

4 Lucky winners will get their animations added as bonus features to Broccoli:The Movie and will be Co-authored to the Release at NG.

Sound like a good enough prize?

Anyway... all other entries will be placed in a Showcase on my New Site (I have a host for it but Its not a proper domain or anything yet...)

Rules of the Competition:

Frame Rate: 20fps (incase you win it'll need to be this as this is the frame rate of the movie)

Dimensions: 550x400

Movie: It can be from ANY movie (as long as it exists)

Try to keep it to at least "Teen"

Between 20-40 seconds of animation

STREAM the audio (just in case you are one of the winners)

Deadline: Dependant on Progress of Broccoli Movie. Possibly 1st October/Early October time!

Oh great! I need help on this too.. which is why I'm browsing this area... The instructions they give you with it SUCK! None of it makes sense etc... Its REALLY long and stuff... I can get as far as the install.php page, put in all my details and it rejects me!
