If you can afford one of the higher-end BC Rich guitars, by all means go for it.

I personally know some very proficcient musicians who swear by BC Rich guitars.

Yes we are right. I was refering to the bronze series anyways...I should have been more clear on that:P Jarrydn is right though. If you can get a higher end B.C. rich like the platnium series warlock then go for it.

Wow. I was surprized by the site. I like that fact that you are taking time to put this together and trying to make it work. I've became a member and I'll start to submit some stuff when I come out with it. If you don't mind I would like to post one (out of the two songs that I have:P) on your site. Is that alright with you?

omg

Sorry I was being a little to vauge on that :P I meant something that is like the flash front page.

I agree and I am going to do the same thing.

The "0" voter problem is a big issue. Some users have already suggested that the only way you should be able to vote is to write a review about the song then be able to vote. In addiontion to that I think there should be a minimum requirment in the review field that should be filled out before being able to access the voting page. A filter would be nice in there as well. The filter should determine weather the review is an acutual sentence instead of a bunch of jibberish and symbols. Mabye adding in a question-aire wouldn't be bad either. A question-aire about the meat and potatoes of the song like the rythm, beat and some ofther things as well as a review.

Also, an auido front page would be swell. I know that this has also be suggested and I just wanted to say that this is a great idea. Instead of having just two songs that are somewhat hard to find on the front page there would be a link to a whole other page just for an auido front page.

Experience points should be awarded for voting on auido as well. Not only will this add insentive for people to vote on the auido page but this will also give some auido artist exposure that is needed.

Anyway, those are just a few thoughts that I have had on the subject. I like the auido page now but it could use a re-vamping.

Yah but then they fucking crtiticze you on the audio portal until you hate your self fucking basterds. my advice get the fuck out people will never love you for your music on this website get your start on aciplanet or noisehead where the people are a lot less petty and a lot less fucking retarted. or you could take up flash.

Umm...You must take your critizism to harshly then. If some dumb ass down rates a song of yours don't worry about it. If it is bad just work harder to make a better one.

It really depends on what kind of music you want to play. The mandalin offers a real nice folkish sound which is good if you want to do some Celtic type music. If you get a guitar do not go with a B.C. Rich. If you can get a cheap Ibanez or at least a Fender.

How do you find good music for your games in the AP? I don't have a tactic, so I need hours. What do you do? Which tactics do you have?

Well you could use the search section in the NG audio portal for key words and what not. You could also try the NGAP which you can find it in the gadgets sections of the games. Hope this helped

(if you are, could you tell me if it is exactly what your were looking for?)

To tell you the truth no. I asked the same question a long time ago when I first signed up for NG and I was told FL was the answer I was lookign for. I just bought the Downloadable version of the Producer edition because it wasn't that expensive and it wasn't to cheap. I fooled around with it a bit and it was what I was looking for in the first place.

Well you can get the FL Producer edition for a little over $100 ($149 to be exact) and you can get the FL Studio FL edition for $99 to download from thier web site.

I also stumbled across Orion Pro. I do not know if it is any good. I have not tried it myself. Its $99 and you can also try the Demo Here

THere is also Reason but I can not find a site for it. If you want more try to google some stuff. You should be able to find more.

I am using FL 5 Producer edition. I do not know about express. Play with the demo a bit before you deciede to buy FL to see if you like it. If you can try other demos of other programs to get a feel for what program fits your style and needs.

This is true. I use FL and when I first got it it seemed that I would never learn how to make electronica. I just sat down and played in FL for a little bit and learned what processer and so on did what.

But he never said that we couldn't so we are going to. Emo music...think of it as...Glam Metal from the early eighties. You have guys dressed in womens clothing wearing to much damn make-up and high picthed wailing about how bad life is when life is damn sweet. The guitars for "emo" bands are usually tuned in standard tuning and lack the heavy and chugging sound that metal has but has a haunting sound that will make you feel as bad as they do. Another way to look at them is...well...modern blues artists. In my opinion they are the same thing...except blues is much better. Both Blues and "Emo" artist try to make their listeners feel as bad as they do so they their lives wont seem as dark and lack luster as then think it is. Personally I think its a dead art form like punk.

I use Adobe Audition. I don't use it much unless I am recording voices and need to edit some of the loops and whatnot I have made. It seem to get the job done and I have not any problems with it.

Topic: Flash "Toonic"

Posted: 09/26/06 04:35 PM

Forum: Flash

Hey, I was pondering over some idea's on some art froms for a flash I am going to make. I was over the many forms of how to animate and draw using various programs. They are good but I don't think they suit me very well. So I was thinking about hand drawing a flash and turning it into a comic of sorts (A "toonic" as I like to call it.) I just wanted to post the idea of the art form on the fourm to ask everyone their thoughts on this type of flash. Get some input on the subject so I can get some help on weather or not to do the flash in the "Toonic" style or just animate it. Any and all comments are welcome. Thank you
