I finally bought a scanner (even though the one I bought was missing a cord to complete the set and I have to go through the hassle of borrowing one from a friend) and decided to scan in a drawing a did in 2011 (haven't really drew anything on paper in 2012 yet).

Thanks, it was fun going back coloring like this.
Now in this pic, I was trying out a method on coloring lineart, drawing out the line art part was boring >3>
So I don't think i'm interested in finishing this anytime soon.

Anywho, is the next picture a power ranger toy sword?

Awesome, you're posting in NG again :D
I have no idea what advice I can give on your style or anatomy BUT I can try give out ideas for you to use if you want to. (I use photoshop cs3 to mess around with this)
As far as I can tell, your drawing was flat, maybe it needed shadows (I kind of gone about the whole coloring sloppy and without thinking about light source, which you could of consider).
I used the multiply layer effect to give the shadow, you could gradient your shadows if you want to.
Maybe it need highlights ( I use an overlay layer or maybe that blue shadow circle you had need reflective colors relative to your dragon.
Maybe you want to try a color lines instead of black lines.
Maybe you want to add more details for something extra on this dragon.
Or you maybe want to try more textures.
Anywho I hope you'll get an idea out of this and work out some new things.

I shorten the length of her pinky and adjust some things a little.

Seriously, once you start in any of those games, you'll be addicted.
So, my main question is... Any progress from anyone?

Just to clarify, EBF4 won't be out for at least 3 months.
As usual I'll have a fanart gallery in the game itself, so some art can show up in there as well.
Also, I can make a front page post about this project at some point, but you guys will have to tell me what information you want me to put in that.
Er... I think that's everything I wanted to say.
Cool
Feel finish on this, gonna go on with the next fan art that I posted earlier.

Maybe, I once tried somethings out to make a game work on my computer, had a tablet malfunction because I end up disabling certain components (which happen to include the tablet). I fixed it by uninstalling the tablet driver and reinstalling it with the given driver disc (before I installed downloaded tablet drivers online when I couldn't find the disc) I had when I first got the tablet. The problem I originally had was buttons not working (first wrong driver), pen mode not working (2nd wrong driver), pen pressure not working (3rd wrong driver), and only having the top left area of the tablet drawing space working (combining wrong drivers).
Anywho, I gotta say that [holding down start menu key + "R" key and typing in "msconfig" and going to services and disabling all and then pressing ok] is NOT a good idea. That and maybe ending processes and services in task manager that relates to the tablet can cause problems too.

The shin is all curved and the bones that cause the ankle bumps shouldn't be symmetrcal- the inner bump caused by the tibia should start a teensy bit higher. Given the pose, i think only the outer bump of the fibula should be sticking out a bit more than usual and most of the angle that makes the curve possible should be in the ankle itself, not the shin above. Its alright that you don't have behind view, at least you said something. I haven't gotten to the legs on the digital inking yet, so this has come at the perfect time. Down side though, with how big her boots are, I'm not sure how to show the height of the ankle all that well.
Sorry i don't have a view of the bones from behind.
Link to awesome Google find of a character turnaround for Korra
I think if I dip in the boot a little by the ankle a little more I can get a better illustration of the ankle.
WIP
I remember making this sort of mistake before, it ended with me realizing that poses like those break spines.
Where the person faces back at the audience while the body facing the opposite. Poses like those don't entirely work well unless the person is freaking flexible.
The left image is a edit I did if I were to keep the position of the lower and top half of the body the same and adjust the head to a more natural direction.
The right image didn't have an edit but is a suggestion if you were to keep the direction where her head is facing and keeping the lower half of her body is facing too. The top half of the body would have to change direction that would show different shoulder placement (given the red circle next to the shoulder) and she will have to express some twisting motion.
Another note on the pose would be how the bridge of the nose usually cover up the other eye ( things like those have to be consider sometime when trying to draw something with an angle).

I notice that the canvas size was 720x540, so them white spots will be there for now until I paint over them later.

My tablet malfunction to the point where I had to uninstall and reinstall the driver for it.
Drew this to test out the new feeling I get on it.
