But i usually stay on my comfort zone drawing faces
So now im working on my anatomy and stuff, drawing a serie of images of the same character in different poses
"Note that they are Rated M"
1- Exposed
2- Exploited
The viewers didn't seem to like the first one so much so i tried to change the colors and shapes a bit however the second one received even worse scores
(but more overall votes in less time, maybe people was expecting more skin or something else disappointed them)
The main idea of this is to improve so i'll appreciate your opinion, corrections and advices
I say it's the shading not matching up well with the anatomy and lineart.
Though of course your anatomy needs practice but for now I'll point out some iffy things.
The shading with the hair don't match up with the lines of the hair. The line thickness surrounding the fingers, wrist, and the other smaller features of the body appear flat because of how thick it is, practice on controlling line weight and looking up good lineart can help alot. There is no clear sense where the lightsource is, it helps out with understanding shading and gives information on seeing the form take shape.

And in support to Cairos's link, here a video on idea behind drawing gesture (with more related videos regarding to gesture). Plus if you keep in mind about perspective and learning the human muscle and body then doing fine nude studys will be possible.

I always like the panda character (plus tv head character) that you always draw. Though if any logic applies to making those aketche as toy, I say that the robot one with no legs will be tough to make (unless you add strings for its parts).

About a month ago I bought a new sketchbook and have been doing a pretty decent job of filling it up, but the binding on it always makes everything scan terribly. I can never get a nice, flat scan, so I've been feeling pretty "eh" about posting up things that I haven't been able to clean up. Oh well. I miss the forums, so I'll just have to get over it.
I really like this one, it's easy imagining scenarios to what happening to him. ( I'm imagining alien abduction :3)
I use adjustment layers and blend modes (like overlay, color, multiply, color burn) to get the colors I'm happy with and then paint over.
Woot My art made runner up, thanks!
This, and that, plus this.
You can blend by using the alt key (or whatever shortcut the eye dropper tool is)
I do clouds usually by starting off with the chalk brush then soften them up with the soft brush
Hawppy Burthday Jonny and the-ly :3
I'm too tired out to draw, but I'll think up something to draw in my head then transfer the image of it to you guys through telekinesis.
Belated announcement that I finish that Madness pic
Started on this since the beginning of this month, took long to finish this due to procrastination >3> Here to Madness Day :3
(even got frontpaged for it :3)
And now working something up for Halloween (though I dunno what to add/adjust next >3>)
I like doing digital more, I can have layers! and I can chop off limbs and resize/adjust them!
I look back on my sketchbook and see proportions that could look much better if it was slightly (or largely) adjusted.
Plus it save moneys compare to how traditional tools cost accumulates.
Thanks for the FP Tom :D
Happy Madness Day!

Not sure how we'd do this, perhaps just adding each other as friends on skype and discussing art-related stuff?
I apologize if this lacks any interest, I'm just trying to better myself in something I'd like to do professionally.
And if you still want to chat up art related stuff, you can try visiting this chatroom (it's usually dead empty inside but when it's not, you can ask away art related stuff in no time-ish)
Now to work on Hank.
In other news, I bought Destiny but was disappointed (and late) in finding out about the no splitscreen mode and the whole must be connected to the internet thing (using my phone internet to play the game sucks). Looks pretty though, boring story missions, gameplay is like call of duty/ a hint of halo. Environment is all Halo vibe. The dances are awesome. Won't be playing the game til I have fast internet again next month (cuz being disconnected sucks).
I also bought myself Halo 4 concept artbook, so many awesome concepts (especially unused elites and cortana designs). I gotta remember to scan the pages and send it to my android.

Rearrange the composition to give them breathing space.
