The xbox's marketing sceme is all focused on the short sighted consumer. Low initial costs ( which they may even make loss on ) and high costs on long term. Extra royalties on games and online fees for a long lasting profit is a great way to make money. Just like with the ink printer business, once you've bought the system, you'll be wanting to keep using it even though all the value is then gone.

I don't see how they would want to change this. If you like to invest somewhat more for free online possibilies and cheaper games, get a decent gaming computer. It really isn't that expensive as people make it out to be. Plus it's also much smoother with software like photoshop or flash.

RTC is my favorite building game ever. The first was the best, the second wasn't much different although with some improvements. But the scenarios weren't as fun. It's a shame what they did with the third part though, they should've just sticked with the fantastic 2D look.

More RAM doesn't make anything go faster, aslong as it's not a bottleneck. After about 4GB you won't notice any difference for home use. You'd be looking into faster parts, instead of more then.

Go to my computer and rightclick your drive with the game in it, then click explore. There is a probably a setup.exe or install.exe in there. Rightclick it, and click Run as Administrator. That should probably do the trick.

Probably unreal tournament '99. Mechwarrior, mechcommander and battlezone were also pretty badass to play online back then.

I found the stone tower temple in Majora's Mask far more aggravating than the water temple. Probably the most confusing temple of any zelda game ever. It's like a huge middle finger after climbing all the way up the sucker.

The game is positively supported, I don't know why you say it isn't. And Valve had a date to release the Demo to the public yesterday.

Selling a short game for a hefty 50 euro, and giving your customers the impression that later they're adding new campaigns, modes, characters, weapons and more. Only to give it a new mode that's basicly an infinite panic mode, and a single 15 minute campaign that was scratched in the beta isn't what I call positive support.

I won't say L4D2 is what users were supposed to get when they bought L4D, but it certainly looks more like it than we currently have gotten for support. But oh well, turtle rock studios sucks anyway. They were also the guys who made condition zero which was basicly a reskin of counterstrike, and sold it under the impression that it contained spectacular improvements and extra content. We all know what became of that.

L4D is just a hyped little game, probably because they spend half of their budget on marketing and the fact that it's being made on the 360. Anything that's a bit gory or action packed will get recieved well on the 360.

Top it with x-ray vision and you've got a deal.

The first part wasn't that good. Now they're just adding a few new SI, replacing the skins on the weapons and making some new missions. Pretty mediocre if you ask me. But if they can milk out the 360 enough to further update TF2 with that money, fine by me.

Being depressed does not mean you have to wear shitty clothes and listen shitty music. The latter is just craving for attention.

Real depression may include things like; barely any appetite, barely ( be able to ) do a thing, severe stress ( and all the side-effects of it ), panic attacks, subdued behaviour, emotional outbursts, and on. Definitely not something that should be taken lightly.
