Yeah, but often HUMAN BEINGS don't react as they would want whilst under stress and so they do stupid things.
Even if that video is just a joke, deers really can be dangerous for drivers.
Imagine yourself driving and then suddenly that thing runs on the road...your primitive reflexes will tell you to avoid that animal so that puts you and other drivers around you in danger as well.
Businesses need customers to survive so I don't see how stopping people from spending money would help the economy because all shops would have to close because of that.
The latter choice would be the only logical one since it helps both companies and the general public. The companies can offer a better product for a reasonable price and the general public has the choice when it comes to goods and services.

Have you changed anything audio driver-wise on your computer lately?
Could be another reason.
If you recently reformatted your computer or changed some settings then that could make your computer not recognize them.
Check your drivers :-)
