A long, long time ago I made a game called dragBall, which went down the history books as being pretty crappy. So a long time ago I made a sequel called dragBall 2 (I know) which I uploaded to FGL and waited for someone to place a bid on it (which never happened), so I kinda forgot all about it and worked on other projects. Then a while ago my computer crashed and I lost all my files. I managed to download the .swf file of dragBall2 from FGL but it was encrypted so I can't decompile it and extract something useful out of it. Meaning I can no longer sell it, which I don't care too much about, the bigger problem is the game doesn't have a preloader and there's a pretty fatal bug in the main menu which I can't fix anymore.
It isn't a revolutionary gaming experience by any standard, but I did spend quite some time on it and I feel it'd be a waste to let no one ever play it. I've uploaded the game to STW here, as you can see there's no preloader and when you hit continue in the main menu the game crashes (this only happens when you've never played the game before, once you've played it once the continue button will work).
I thought there might be a chance to make a preloader by loading the game swf in another (preloader) swf, but I haven't looked into that yet. Does anyone know if that's possible in theory? Also, once I get that to work and place a little disclaimer in the comments so nobody hits the continue button the first time, you guys think I should upload it to NG?
