Correct me if I'm wrong, but while it indeed was possible to get B/P without leveling up before the redesign, even if one voted on more than four submissions, by not depositing, but since the redesign, even if one votes on 4 submissions one day, and on 1 submission the other day, the XP is carried over to the next day and voter gets experience up, because of the auto-deposit being present since the redesign.
