Response to: Should there be a Religion Forum? Posted 7 days ago in General

At 12/23/14 09:25 PM, Sectus wrote: Newgrounds regulars are not mature enough to deserve a religion forum. Perhaps when a day comes that General regulars are courteous, kind, and respectful, we can consider adding one.

Then again, if that happens we might as well prepare for the second co- erm. Nevermind.

Politics Forum is mostly about laws. Laws are tangible, corporeal and tactile, whereas religion tends to be abstract, imperceptible, and generally intangible.

I think there is a big, big difference between culture and politics. Politics are about public policy, rules, order, but all enforced by the barrel of a gun if pushed too far, or even pushed a little in some circumstances.

Culture is not enforced and are closer to a set of loose guidelines, but it's something that is so ubiquitous, that it goes unnoticed, like the presence of air. We know it's there, but we can't quite put our finger on it, because simultaneously it is always dynamic and changing as well.

Ah, I'm rambling, just food for thought.

When you talk about "religion" you're talking about Christianity, let's be honest.

Using some nebulous term like "religion" mutters the issue to mean pretty much whatever anyone else wants, and leads t massive, massive confusion.

You are 100% wrong.

So why didn't Fidelito try and end the embargo in '97? '98? '99? '95? It still stands that my post was 100% right. Bill Clinton tried to end the embargo on multiple times. On one single occassion, outside forces made a political mess....but why didn't he try again? Like I said, "us vs. them" Marxist poli-psycho-social strategy.

Do you know of any other games that uses that type of formula?

Dark link, but he was more of a shadow of Link rather than a true reflection of Link.

There are plenty of games where you fight dark versions of yourself like Metroid Prime 2-3 and Fusion, and a short fight in Soul Calibur 2. It's a lazy way to recycle character models and create a dramatic boss.

Cry of Fear is pretty fucked up. It could never get green lighted for retail.

Cry of Fear, there are two final bosses based on the ending. One is your true self, which your dark side can knock out of his wheelchair and strangle him to death, thus killing yourself in the process.

I think any boss that makes you fight yourself is emotional

If not them, maybe whoever deleted Chromaut. He was a hero. Or kidnap GoryBlizzard, but I would have to find a way to bind him without physically touching his fæeces-ridden body. Hmm...

I'm not even trolling, I see this a lot online and it's generally something I really hate to see.

I was about to say. Your position is basically one of anti-anti-loli, you critique those who critique loli. What I was going to say was, since you're against the criticisms lobbed at loli, why not defend loli by adopting a pro-loli position?

It's always better to be seen as a positive in a debate, that you are for something, rather than just being a negative force that is against something. So, instead of being against loli-hate groups, why not be apart of a loli-love group? That is, if there were anything positive at all about loli to defend for.

I get that children should be protected, but who gives a shit about animals? If you've ever seen any documentary on the meat industry, then by comparison, getting humped by Xenomit is, for a cow or a pig or a chicken, a vacation from the unspeakable conditions they'd face in factories and slaughter mills.

Besides, dolphins have sex for pleasure, ergo they can consent. Other animals can consent too. For example, to use the horse in the story, if the horse didn't want to be mounted, the guy would be dead from a buck to the head or neck. If the horse didn't want it, he would have kicked and bit him.

While horses can only say "neigh", they can use other forms of communication to relay consent.

Let's talk about Supernatural.

That series was pre-ordered to have 5 seasons, so that's what they wrote for it in the beginning, a plot line to fit five seasons. But then TNT came in my ass, and said "hold up, we've got something girls everywhere can flick their bean to. Now that's power! Let's extend this penis a little longer." And that's why Supernatural can't deliver anymore.

Response to: 2 NY Cops killed ‘execution style' Posted 9 days ago in Politics

When we eventually have all the pieces of the puzzle, we will find out that this crime was just simple psychotic rage. Why? Because no healthy human mind murders their girlfriend, and two officers in cold blood. There's nothing to gain from such atrocities. It doesn't make any sense.

I'd rather people injected psychology and criminology into crime stories rather than politics and grief.
