I usually make hip hop and RnB and have recently tried making Trance and Rock, but everytime I go back to Hip Hop and RnB, it just comes out like shit or the same chords, scales and feeling my other beats have.

I've been making music for about a solid three years now and I find my music being haulted by what some call a music or writer's block (where everything you make either comes out sounding like shit or sounding like the same thing you've made hundreds of times). If anyone knows of any techniques or steps to get rid of this block, please explain.

Well, I found that I'm going to be getting an apartment for about 600 a month, not including electricity, water and all that, but including gas. I'll have a car already payed and all that, so no monthly car payments. But I'm working for Fed-Ex, earning about 11.5/hr full time (about 40/week). Should I be able to survive or should I get a roommate? Or what guys?
