Honestly, I don't know if I'd consider myself an SJW, but I'm sick of the lack of actual conversation about meaningful things, people just want to avoid talking about anything below the surfacey bullshit of "Have you tasted your own semen?" or "What video game character would you bang?".

If someone's offended by something, they have every right to say so and should say so, so actual discussion can happen where both sides actually talk rationally. But no one wants to talk rationally about tough subjects, it seems.

Honestly, having been accused of harassment due to not understanding certain cues, I don't know what to think. I sympathize with the ex, I know what it's like to be totally enamored with someone and then find out a lot of it, if not all of it, was a lie. I sympathize with Zoe. I laugh at Phil Fish's meltdown. But the whole situation is pretty fucked. I mean, to be completely honest, in the end it won't matter at all. No one's core values will have changed, no closure will be gained; no causes will be validated or invalidated. Do I think Zoe faked the attack against herself? Probably. Did she fake the twitter harassment? Not at all. Did she fake all the misogynistic messages she received? Really doubt she faked even one. Just because she might not be the best figurehead, because she's a person, with foibles and problems; doesn't mean her cause is any less important. Just because her cause is important, doesn't make me believe that the ex's pain is any less real or valid. It's just a fucked situation made more fucked by the internet.
