Posted: 11/15/09 09:57 AM

I was thinking about getting a mohawk for a while and I knew if I did I'd want to copy the artist Android Jones, what he did was make an arrow out of it. One of his self portraits to better explain the idea. . . I honestly don't know if he actually had his mohawk like this but it looks fucking awesome.

Length, I have no idea, I never liked those ridiculously huge ones. I'd stick with smaller, easier to maintain, but start from big to small, you can always cut more off if you don't like it.

Good Mohawk Length?

Agreed this game is harder. Almost beat it though.

I wanna be the guy is really pretty easy. Just have to memorize everything. . .

Would I rather have creative people or stupid people? Well creative of course, stupid people do nothing!
Sorry about that. Would you rather have more creative people or smarter(more productive) people? Please give me a reason so I don't have to waste a post asking "Why?"

I'll give you a reason for him.

Art classes, whether it be Art, Music, Dance, or anything else, help nurture the imagination.

Everybody is born with an imagination, which is what truly sets us apart from animals. As a child, with out powerful imaginations we come up with amazing ideas, but without the resources to fulfill them, they are lost as we age.

But the arts help people maintain the power of their imagination. Thomas Edison was an inventor, a writer, and a poet. He was well rounded in the arts. Thomas Edison was the writer of the Declaration of Independence. But before he put ink to paper, where did the document exist?

In his imagination.

Every human made object once existed in a person's imagination. Without the arts, the manufacturing of ideas would greatly be diminished.

Personally, I think the opposite that you do. I believe that subjects like Math, History, and Science, are ruining our children. I still believe they should be offered, but they should just be offered, like every other course should be.

If you have the the time, or if anybody does, I highly recommend watching this video, which may make some of my ideas seem more clear.

Topic: Cutting hair really necessary?

Posted: 09/29/09 05:55 PM

Forum: General

Reading through this topic the main arguments against long hair that I see are that Long hair is for losers/slackers, and that Long hair makes one unable to get a girlfriend because it looks stupid.

Well first off, what does hair have to do with intelligence? A man with long hair is instantly less intelligent then a man with short hair? Why doesn't that apply to girls? And if the amount of hair does decrease your intelligence, how come people don't shave their heads bald?

Shit, that's a smart idea. I'll shave my head in a minute if it means it'll make me more intelligent, but until such things are proven true I'll keep my hair, just so when I do shave my head to make myself smarter the change will be that much greater.

Next, if you NEED short hair to get a girlfriend. I understand plenty of men with short hair have/had girlfriends, of course. But if you rely on your short hair to get a girlfriend then your girlfriend seems rather shallow and superficial. If she doesn't like you for who you are and just how you look then I think that's not a person you'd want to be with.

Personally, I've had very long hair for a while. I cut my hair once and regretted it as soon as I did it. Now my hair is back and longer then ever and I appreciate it all the more.

So I do recommend people with long hair shave their heads, just so they'll love it even more when it returns.

Guess I have a thing for older women.

I think that's pretty interesting, because my prediction is that as one ages their attachment to these numbers lessen. A 50 year old probably wouldn't mind dating a 20 or 70 yeah old, and most 15 year olds would probably never consider dating somebody 20 years older then them.

Maybe it's because as they age they become more desperate? Or, what I think is that as they age they become smarter and realize that the age really doesn't matter but it's the person and how they act is what matters.

Topic: Youngest/Oldest person you'd Date?

Posted: 09/26/09 10:08 PM

Forum: General

Just a question I asked a few of my friends and got surprisingly very different answers. I remember a topic slightly similar to this but I couldn't find it.

So, out of curiosity, I figured I would ask Newgrounds. What's your age, male or female, and what's the Youngest/Oldest person you'd date, ideally. I think the gender will make a difference because my friend said that she would never date a guy younger then her but she would have no problem dating men older then her. Maybe that's just her though.

And I know some people might say Age doesn't matter, love is love, and if that's what you think then that's fine but I could never see myself honestly dating somebody vastly older or younger then me.

I'm 16, a male, and the oldest person I'd date would probably be around 19 and the youngest person I'd date would be 14.

What your doing very much sounds like my plan if I ever get kicked out of my house for an extended period of time or something. . .

My suggestion is to become good friends with the librarians, especially since you're a very frequent visitor. I was suspended from school for a little over two months and during this time I went to the library 3 or 4 days a week, so the librarians began to recognize me. If you're extra nice and polite to them, it'll go a long way I'm sure.

Also, I think getting a job would greatly benefit you. It'll eat up some of your time so you won't be wandering aimlessly. Plus, even at minimum wage, think of all the things you could afford, especially foodwise! Buy a few loaves of bread and some Peanut butter and you're so for a while.

Just make sure you're nice to everybody who helps you in any way because they're helping you out of the goodness of their heart and you should appreciate everything you get.

I'd also suggest you invest in a notebook and pencil, I'm sure you could get down a bunch of cool drawings or stories or something!

Good luck!

For some reason some files won't delete on my computer because it says I need to have permission from the administrator.

I only have one user on this computer and it's me, and I checked in Control Panel and it does say that my user is the administrator.

Has anybody faced this problem before or know how it can be solved?

I told him I'm working on his password and he says that it's a Noun.

So that's not something with random letters or numbers. Although I might just change his password using a guest account just to fuck with him. I could also try a Keylogger if I wanted to.

It could also be filled with numbers and obscure characters.

Because that would still qualify as a word he's never said before.

That's something I didn't even think of but he's not clever enough for that. He did say that we may have heard it from somebody else, just not him so that should make it an actual word.

Topic: My Friend's Password.

Posted: 08/20/09 02:11 PM

Forum: General

A friend of mine got a new laptop recently, and he has a password on it. One day, I tried to sign on but I couldn't figure it out and he bet me 10$ that I would never figure it out.

So naturally, I have to try to cheat now that there's money involved.

He said it's 11 digits, starts with an E and ends with an A.

He says he's never said it before, so it's probably some weird word but it somehow relates to him.

I tried to find some on google and a got a few choices, none of them very likely.

ejectamenta - ejected matter, worthless items.

emetophobia - an intense, irrational fear or anxiety pertaining to vomiting.

empyreumata - being or having an odor of burnt organicmatter as a result of decomposition

enchondroma - is one type of benign (noncancerous) cartilage tumor that appears on the inside of the bone.

entomofauna - Insects are arthropods, having a hard exoskeleton, a three-part body, three pairs of jointed legs

epencephala - Anatomy, the hindbrain.

epicheirema - is mentioned by all the classical logicians/orators, beginning with Aristotle, but no one is sure what it means.

epithelioma - is a tumor originating in the stratum Malpighii

erotophobia - a term used by psychologists to describe sexuality on a personality scale.

etheromania - the craving for ether.

exanthemata - an acute but mild viral disease of children, with high fever for about 3 days, followed by a rash on the trunk.

I was possibly thinking the second one, emetophobia because it seems like something he could find on google. Since a lot of people, at least in my school, like to think they have diseases he could have googled "Fear of vomiting" and that could have come up.

If anybody could help me I would be grateful.

I'm liking your stuff, nice designs. One of my suggestions would be to try to draw guns more 3 dimensional, they seem to most often be in profile with the arm the same way, while this is alright sometimes but all the time it becomes a bit dull.

Another suggestion would be giving your lines a little more curve which helps give your characters more life and rhythm.

This was because they were free at the time, and although I was really hyper I obviously didn't lie.

But 18? More then doubling what I had, sounds like he would have been in some serious trouble.

My friend saved my life once.

We were chilling in an open field with another friend and a few people. That other friend was throwing knives at the grass, whatever. A dumbass, but we were pretty far away. So I turn around for some reason and my friend yells for me to get out of the way, so I just dived to the side.

What had happened was that the kid throwing the knives, tried to go for a longer shot, hit the knife with his thumb or something and it ended up going towards my head.

And I often tell this story when my friend's talking to a girl. Because he's just so damn cute.

Quick question, not sure if it should be posted here but it's worth a shot.

With my scanner, when I scan images they come out OK, but are there any suggestions as to how to make the lines more visible without having to change the settings to the page changes color and the lines look like pen.

And the more important question how should I reduce the file size of a scanned image?

I could probably get rid of excess space in the file with Paint, but are there any other suggestions?

2. She's been cheating on me as expected and tries to avoid confrontation.

Two weeks to go till her return from Russia.

Well, I may not be a genius. Especially when seen next to Vincoid but I'll make my suggestion but heed anybody elses words over mine!

If she's cheating on you, then she is and nothing you can do can really stop it, unless you get a hold of her on the phone which doesn't seem to be the case. My suggestion would be to just stop trying to call her. If you stop calling her then she will either not notice, because her phones dead. Or wonder why you stopped calling her when she was so used to ignoring you.

This could place her in an uncomfortable position, and she would wonder why you stopped calling, then address the situation when she returns.

My suggestion as of now, but I'd listen to what other people have to say!

I only put salt on French Fries and chicken, but jeez, what a different it makes! I even put it in ketchup, because it fuses with it and when I dip a fry it in tastes even better. Although with excess salt the ketchup turns darker or brown, don't be alarmed.

I highly recommend putting salt on ketchup.
