First, welcome to Newgrounds! I see you joined yesterday.
To the matter at hand. There are a lot of ways to gain fame in newgrounds. One of my favorite ways is to enter competitions and give feedback's to others. That way you gain a lot of experience, get to know other newgrounders. Other people would want to do the same back to you! The more you do so, more followers/fans you will get. That implies that you will get more and more known on the site. But be patient. Fame does not come over night..
Good Luck man!

Things you mustknow for making music:
Basic music theory (mentioned above; how notes, melodies, chords react to each other)
- How to implement that in; learning instrument/ music software
- Have a "musical ear"
- Creative mind, in a musical sense
If you're making electronic music, you have to know and understand this:
- how a synth works (tweaking oscilatros, filters, LFO and such)
- Mixing & dynamics (also include sidechaining)
- Daw
- Mastering
If you got all this you are good to go. There are some different conditions for other genres of course. Some bonuses are very handy to have; Musical experience. But experience comes with time (if you are very active, of course).

Response: I don't own a soundcard, but would a Blue Microphone Yeti USB Microphone - Silver Edition do?
http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=11974631
I was peeking in some reviews on the net, and it got good reviews. But there is a limited use of shockmounts and popfilter. With shockmounts, there is only 1 that fits, from the yeti company (it seems). And you have to apply own popfilter for your mic. But overall its a good mic for broadcasting and voice-overs. Here is a link to a review that I saw:

If you have seen my previous movies", Kureah: Red Man," "StickWars: Episode1," and "Invalid Love: Episode 1," then you know for a fact I need better equipment in my recording process. If you didn't know already, I'm a newbie on Newgrounds, and I'm a YouTube user. My YouTube channel is "AdHominemSociety." Check it out to support me:), but can you guys recommend any microphone equipment when recording voices. Amazon, store, or Ebay? I really, really need help. I don't want my project "MAJOR" to be a failure. I'm currently using audacity for recording, but that's not working. Thanks for your time guys : )
Hello LightYagami123
I do not broadcast and do not own a good mic. But I am planning to buy my own mic setup, so I will share my knowledge with you.
First you need a condenser mic. Those provide the best quality for your type of use-scenario. And second, if you have a descent sound card, I'm talking about a sound-card that provide +48V for your mic, you should buy one with XLR input. If you do not own a soundcard with those specifications, and not planning to, you buy one with USB connection instead of an XLR.
Other equipment is obvious whatever kind of mic you buy; shock-mount, pop-filter and a mic stand. Make sure to check if your mic fits your shock-mount. When you got all these things, you are good to go. When it comes to price-range, it differs very between the lowest quality to the high end. If I were you and wanted to know more about which mic's you should buy and to which prices; Wait for an answer from people more experienced with mic's and pricing, or just Google it. Google reviews and guides for which mic's to buy.
That's all I got for you. Hope you find what your looking for. Good luck!

any score composers in here who can suggest some ideas on what DAWs to switch to? (NO FL Studio)
I have somewhat of an idea on what to try, but I wanna get some opinions first.
*running Windows 7 64-bit
I use Cubase. And all I can say I am happy with it. I have been scoring in FL studio. Its very constricted for video and articulations. Cubase have something called Expression mapping, which is phenomenal. I've not touched the video functions, but I know you can time stretch the tempo of the song to correspond the video! Also, Hans Zimmer is using Cubase, so it kinda tailored for that kind of music. Cubase works very good on all genres too! Listen to my 2013 collection (Cubase) prior to my early stuff (FL Studio). Good luck man.
