Aaaaand one more i just forgot to add up (i did this one after the major spam i just made so we'll call it 6/5)

I'm thinking about maybe doing something else other than faces (maybe a cute cartoony animal or a big evil monster) just to intentionally get out of my comfort zone...*shivers* I dont really have an end goal and dont really know what i want to draw or how i want them to look but...well i want to at least practice (& practice, maybe add a sprinkling of practice to that) to get better

.....aaand (5/5)

Just nothing in mind, just random whatevers.

SO! there you have it...i havent really sketched in a while but i really do want to get better, find a style that i can at least do and stick with it....

I know the sketches arent amazing-tastic but any advice or comments or pointers are much appreciated (what kind of materials to use [i know not lined paper, but what kind of pencils, any other special items?], anything about a particular style of drawing i should try), and anything else would be really great; seriously, any response is fine XD

Thanks for taking time to put up with my stuff again as well; Comments, Advice, & everything else are appreciated greatly!

I wasnt aiming to "draw" anything, just...going with the flow as it came in my mind and tried sketching it

So...I tried touching Pencil to paper (I used lined because i didnt want to waste it for just random doodles/practicing after my long absence from drawing)....i need to keep drawing XD

I dont really Have a style but im just drawing to...draw? trying to get better? just....not sure if i have a style yet or anything...

Either way, here it is: my random doddles to re-orientate myself with drawing.

I was trying stick figures and.....hands (damn bane of my existence)

ALRIGHT, I'm back; time to revive this post! I Apologize for the extremely long absence but I am starting to rustle around and kick the artist side back up from submission because ive been really distracted with work & all! I am not exactly sure of what I want to draw exactly (as in themes, illustrations, scenery, etc) but i do have a lot of ideas in mind so expect to see at least something soon (maybe a new logo or something...new and invigorating?) Again, my apologies!

Oh, & as always, any advice & comments will be greatly appreciated!

Going to be on a series of plane flights pretty soon for work so i'm going to try & see if I can get any time to draw on one of the extremely boring flights...you know, the ones where you can't sleep no matter what your mind and body wants to do? After that, wont be able to get on for a while due to work & whatnot.

Also, are there any suggestions at what I should give a go at trying? I'm trying different styles & things to improve...(Doll thing to knight, creepy creature to anime style, and now tails from "Sonic")...but eh? Maybe I should give another go at some creepy creature or work more on armor, or maybe just work of body composition & whatnot?

Well, i'm sure ill get plenty of time to think about stuff and try on one of the flights.

...& i thought i'd demonstrate my basic construction for the body on the anime-ish girl from before with conveniently worn attire demonstrating how i do anatomy....& with an effort at hands XD

SO! thats all 4, i tried doing "The Thing" but it ended up looking like a stoner dude groweing ferns out of his body ....but about the previous 4, PLEASE have a gander & give your judgement. Critique, Comment, & Advice are welcome as always.

Thanks Again, Have a Nice Day!

You guys & gals kept asking for realism so well...long story made short, i had to sit across from this guy for like an hour and tried remembering and analyzing every little detail and here is what i ended up coming up with....ehhhhhh

Okay, I was originally going to do 5 sketches but ended up doing 4 instead! But here they come, Fast ballin' em out!

As a kid, I always played as Tails because, well, my brother always used Sonic....& Tails ended up being my favorite.
(I haven't played since Sega Genesis so i'm not exactly up to date). So, i decided to see if i could sketch him up & also practice hands?

Stay Tuned for More

ALRIGHTY THEN!!!

I'm going to just crack down on this drawing thing! I plan to do a few drafts & sketches & who knows, I might edit them w/ Gimp & put it up on my page, but once i've finished them, I will post them ASAP for critique! (& yes....I will work on hands, proportions, & realistic things)....I think i'll draft up one of the characters I had in mind for that....anyway, thanks for the support for the new guy so far everyone, stay tuned! I'll try to get better!

hmm...,a good way to start drawing more properly is learning a lot about anatomy, proportions, etc.Probably the first time youÃ'´ll find that too difficult @__@.When i practise i OBSERVE a lot from reality or references of real people.Always search for references, internet is full of references for you to copy and observe how the proportions are, where does an arm end,how big is the head in comparison to to the body, etc. afsfdsf. The difference between eyes is one eye.

Try studying basic anatomy proportions and then you have to practise till you suffer and cry blood(?).Try copying various faces for references(not anime,i mean real people faces)...eventually you will notice things you havenÃ'´t noticed before and youÃ'´ll be more careful with your art.

Also,i see you donÃ'´t like drawing hands,no one likes it at the first time xD.Also you have to practise that.

so thatÃ'´s pretty much what you have to do>>take references, observe, recreate the reference, fail, try again(?)

you will get better like that c:,i like when people make efforts to get better in something, like you!,i wish you luck

First, Thanks for taking the time to reply & its alright about the english, I understood just fine.

I do not wish to practice so much as to cry blood but I am trying to improve, but this damn proportion problem haha hands were bad when i tried and after erasing it many times, i just decided to put her arms behind her back but gotta keep going I guess right?

Thanks a buncho!

...& I need more work on....everything; I erased soooo many times on this one but the anatomy & clothing is stilll...mehh...I might edit this one on Gimp....or just keep practicing facial features & anatomy until i get a good example.

Advice, Comments, & Critique are welcome & much appreciated; I'll just keep drawing & practicing until I level up from beginner I suppose.

So, I am going to try & focus on anatomy/shading for next project; it would be really hard trying to justify a monster or person with 2 elbows on one arm.

I'm starting with every little thing & then expanding outward; just a few eyes here (& I plan to be drawing females which is why they aren't so...masculine [also no nude ones! Not exactly my cup of tea + it's still way beyond my reach art wise I believe]).

If anyone has any tips on drawing bodies or faces or anything, wants to comment on the eyes/other illustrations I've made, or if you are just venting anger for me not having brought those cupcakes I promised earlier, lemme know & don't hold back! Thanks again!

so, how about that anatomy then? you know you should get some life drawing in, go draw a plant or a scantily clad woman, it'll do you some good.

Yeeaaah Anatomy, Shading & Perspective seem to be my biggest obstacles...Hmmmm....never thought about drawing something like a flower or a tree before....or a "scantily clad woman"....that one alone is an intimidating & new frontier....BUT! I will give it a try & see if i can even draw a person correctly! Thanks for the Advice!

SO! I tried out a few sketches recently: one of my own little project about a Doll (made one before on my page) that fights baddies at night & about a guy all Armored up.

I took the sketches & then edited them on Gimp & I was wondering if you could give some critique & thoughts about them both? What do i need to work on, whats alright, what i should never ever ever do again, E.t.c. (they all should be right below here). I'll start with the "Doll" Sketch (I am also wondering what kind of paper is best to draw on/any store brands that carry because the only paper that is clear I can find in the local store is printer paper???)

Greatly Appreciate it!
