The only thing I would say is that your landscapes lack detail when compared to the characters in them. Almost as though combining 2 different styles. Adding just a little more detail would make your image POP.

I am by no means a pro, that's just my thoughts.

thanks for the feedback, i feel like i am a beginner as i have only been doing this for no more than 2 years.

the basic landscapes are intentional as i believe that it draws more focus towards the detailed characters and another reason is that i am under time constraints http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/645878
as you see, these scenes are from my short animation so i decided to go for a bold simplistic style.
however the Snowy death background is pretty crap indeed, i used a mouse to make it so i can only use flash's line tool for it.
