That actually wasn't what I was getting at, but yeah - when you think about it, the fact a computer is used IN the medium is a lot like a pencil being used in the medium of a comic book artist. That right there is just like a tool used to hammer in the nail of a house, whatever that house's purpose is for. Yours in this case would be something artistic.

It's really the fact that I think he misunderstands that MMOs are these money sinks totally designed to drain your money. If there's one thing I learned about MMOs, it's that they'll do anything to shut up the majority of the users that play the game until a minority starts getting louder and thus, "expansion packs." They just play the game PAST the endgame until there's bonus content but unlike spending it on making a game, or putting it to something cool they just waste like $30 a month playing an online game in the same room. Like, what?

I've seen someone on this game mention "if you're not getting the expansion, you might as well uninstall the game." Why? I might as well uninstall the game because I'm new, and I might just do that because my other PC is a fuckton better than this piece of shit I've used for the last 3 years.

Here's the thing. People won't accept online art until they see the entire process. Traditional art, as in current movie, photo, and even multimedia limitations actually exist where animation itself is powered via programming. To implement programming as part of the art, it will demonstrate that this "digital art" can only be explained by a demonstration of how the object was made and how it is viewed. And another thing - it's possible to develop a "film game" where the animation itself is programmed to have different potential outcomes based on number generators. DVD technology is not even remotely there or constant on showcasing these things.

In other words, digital art is for the affluent that can properly showcase how not only ahead of the time it is in retrospect, but also that it's an artform in which is quite misunderstood because it offers a slew of possibilities not attainable by other art aspects. Thus, digital art is actually very real. It's not just the fact you photoshopped something cool. It's also about demonstrating what you can do with programs themselves, from MS Paint to some shit like RPG Maker 2000. Who says you just view art? Playing art is the new thing. Oculus Art (oculus rift art) is so new, I bet not a single person in this thread stopped to consider that.

But it's entirely the fact you USED the medium to design something that caters to the interest of the viewer. And that's why digital art is something real and fresh that you have to get outside of the box about. Otherwise it's just "another picture." And "another picture" is not true art. It's just a showcase of talent.

Is there a way to get perfect sound syncing through movie clips in Flash, or is this just a lost question? Because almost anything I do to sync sound falls short.

So recently, I started playing an MMO (out of pure boredom and because my friend keeps pointlessly pestering me about it). I don't like it, I don't actually want to play it.

I do this to play with my friends because that's all they did.

They don't even do anything at all BUT play this game. I think this cycle has kept up for over a year. They sometimes do other stuff on their days off and when there's maintenance but for the most part, "other stuff" is restricted to eating food, browsing Imgur, and watching Netflix. Rinse and repeat.

Why on earth are people like this? Before you ask they are obese, but not to the point where they take up 2 entire seats at the movie theater. One of my roommates bitch and moan about just doing anything requiring work around the house as well, which could be anything as simple as picking up cat puke when one of their cats threw up a shit or hairball or whatever it was. No effort on their end besides "the bills" and "the game."

I've tried to get my friend on board with other things like just physical activity and being productive to just editing videos or music. But it's like he thinks he has no knack or talent for it, which is pointless to argue. Apparently he thinks watching Vsauce videos and reading shit off the internet will really put him in a better spot. He also doesn't have his license and he's 24.

They just sit there, I have no idea what to do.
