HI-RES
Best thing I've seen from you. What'd you colour with?

Actually, pterodactyls are a sub-order of Pterosaura. Most people incorrectly refer to all pterosaurs as pterodactyls, as most are unaware of the other sub-order, Rhamphorhynchoidea, which Pterodactyloidea came from.

With perspective, remember that what's closer looks bigger. The forearms don't look any bigger. And the foreshortening shouldn't be so dramatic that the upper arms are that short.
Use layers. There's lots of unsightly white on your pictures. That aside... draw from life, draw from references. Dear god, please draw trees from reference.

I'm diggin' the stubble and the lips. Could use more saturated colours for the subject so he stands out from the background.

Say what you think
Woah... what's with the short arms? Even with a rather short torso like that, the arms should be longer.

I spy with my little eye the smudge tool.
Shit, forgot to include the redline.
DMG should be about 6 or 7 heads tall, unless she's supposed to be short. Her arms and legs should be longer. Not that I'm an authority on proportions or anything.
Post the actual pictures if you expect us to look at them.
Okay, you should focus on practicing anatomy and proportions before making finished pics. Draw from life, use references, study anatomy books, etc. Sketch frequently. Then we can talk about your sub-par shading. Moar please.
Not bad. His body looks too long, even taking foreshortening into account.

I'll try and sketch a girl a day, I could use the anatomy practice o.o
Elysse!
Referenced the pose from this chick.
I'll just leave this here...
Nice! Her arms just look too thin.

As long as they aren't corgi-boats.
Have my smoothly drawn babies.

Practice with lineless work. I'll remake it soon and add in a background, though I can't think of anything. Suggestions?
Good idea. Ooh, maybe she could be sitting in a roller coaster seat.
Sketch. I find long necks aesthetically pleasing and fascinating, so I've been toying around with ridiculously long necks.
D'aww, quit making me blush.

So um mods, can you do me a favor and delete this thread? (not lock)
Nine years? So you've been drawing since you were three? Well, most kids draw like crap anyway, but how exactly have you been practicing the last four years or so? Geez.

So.
Here's something I just made to break my art block. I used the pose from one of Ickylust's photos. Pretty messy, I know.
Thankyou kindly sir.
If you got pruned, but your scouter didn't, then your art was probably deemed unsatisfactory for the art portal. And it looks like it is. Just keep practicing.

Oh man, it's a Jub-Jub!
Anatomy needs a lot of work. Focus on building bodies out of basic shapes. Sketch a lot. Draw from life.
