His shoulders seem too wide. The width from shoulder to shoulder is 1 1/2 or 2 head widths; for this guy, it's more like 3.

The flute thing isn't entirely straight - it seems to bend where the hand holds it, and the hand holding it looks off as well. The background is pretty boring.

Probably because I was intimidated. :p also, get in stickam. Everyone's on cam
Dibs on C. I'll have it done in about three hours, but I won't be able to scan it for seven.
Regarding the clique thing: the regs do come off as exclusive. I was pretty intimidated when I joined. I still am, and feel a bit lonely since everyone knows everyone and there are in-jokes and unwritten rules I don't understand.

Oh, yes. Very surprising.
Regarding your latest picture: the B is in the foreground and so should have the same outlining as the strawberry. Also, you left a couple sketch marks. You also reeeally need to look into colour theory.

Maybe if you're going with the 8 or 9 heads height, but I usually go for a 2 head long torso.
Please post pics in the thread using the Include Picture? option, if you want us to look at them.
As for the design, it's a pretty generic ninja/guywitharmour/ninjaturtle.
It's not good enough for the front page, but considering what gets on the front page sometimes...
I like the elaborate background, but the central figure needs work. I think her body would look better if it was less blurry, more defined... and her torso is oddly long(and therefore her right arm). Usually the crotch is about three heads down, but on her it's four. She also seems slanted or off balance, since her lower body is more to the left than her upper body. There's something just off about the face, as well. She looks like a fish with her mouth just open and her eyes staring.
No. It lacks detail, the shading is pretty boring, and the lineart needs work; try solid black.

You already said that, kid. Your art needs work. Suck it up.
I've never thought the word was grand.
Lovely stencil - who made it?

...what.
W... where did you get all that?
I don't want to shatter any perceptions. I just want to spread beauty, like I said - that's why I draw, to make appealing things. Nothing philosophical about it.
Also, where could I get some cardstock? A Hobby Lobby, maybe?

I'm sorry. I wasn't aware beauty is 'edgy'. I certainly am a wannabe. As for the picture, I don't see any meaning.

The eyes are at the wrong angle when compared to the mouth; it's as though the upper part of his face is turned slightly away, but the mouth and nose aren't. Also, the eyes should be further apart. Eyes are usually one eye-width apart.

Bob Zombie is a simple man, with simple pleasures. One of these pleasures is strumming his banjo on a cool postapocolyptic day.
