Just bought Fruity Loops Producer Posted July 2nd, 2014 in Audio

Alright so I bought the producer edition and am taking the step up from garageband, where do I even begin with this program it's like cutting something with plastic scissors then suddenly being allowed to use a surgeons scalpel.

I'm really into house, trap and trance althoguh I can look up guides on those easily to get started.

What I wanted to know is if any of you knew where to find a flat out beginners resource explaining everything about the program and such, I'm quite lost at the minute and basically need a video/text guide to run me through all the menu's etc.

I would have searched through the FL thread guide but damn...that things long and a lot of it's just circlejerking...

Thanks in advance!

Looking to commission an artist! Posted July 2nd, 2014 in Art

Looking to commission an artist for a 12x12 cm album cover, heck maybe even a logo if the cover doesn't work as a vector for scaling down.

This is non commercial and as per my knowledge won't be used to sell my music anywhere at least for a very long time.

what I want is an album cover representing this:

But in the pop art style like this:

I would also like a logo but that design is up to you as long as it iconicly represents J or vitamin-J in it. This would have to be a vector and rescalable to any size while still looking good.

as for the album cover I'd like vibrant colors and a plain background, you can make it your own in any style you want but I would prefer if you stayed to the sketch as I really like the style of it.

I can pay through paypal or whatever you guys take around here. If you leave contact info + portfolios/sketch of the commission it will make me easier to choose you.

This is my first post here, kind of ended up being redirected after painstakingly trying to get commisions elsewhere, hopefully this is a little faster with more quality work.

Cheers
