I'd hang a friends missing dog flyer, because you know someone in that building did it.

What should hang in your school?

Response to: Cost of Pet Ownership in 100 Years Posted March 20th, 2012 in General

Cats actually save me money. We do feed them dry food, but they're charged with eating vermin and bunnies and such.
On a farm, they are just another tool to keep the seed and crops safe.
Dogs on the other hand... well no one likes a sick dog, so it's off to vet!
I know what you mean about prices for food, but there's no choice but to feed me, and not a non-sentient being.
Keeping humans as pets is rough enough. We've had random people asking us for food... how can you say no?
Best advice is to grow your own food now, before you starting begging strangers for theirs.

It is going to get worse, so learn to survive, bitches!

Response to: The Reason why i hate Facebook... Posted March 20th, 2012 in General

Facebook is all exposition and no substance. You'd get better and more honest conversations here, than on a whore-mongering site like that. The only people who care about your arcane facts, are the advertisers and the spooks in the government. Facebook is the biggest honeypot ever invented.

Our mayor and his cronies. From hooks. And not necessarily alive either.
Children should know, the ends don't always justify the means, and thieves come in many guises.

Response to: old school and new school Posted March 20th, 2012 in General

The neighbor's kid got issued an iPad, which he is expected to bring to school everyday... it's worthless. They submit no homework on it or anything - the school just drank Apple's Kool-Aid (propaganda) and bought these things, without training the staff or teachers how and what to use them for (my tax dollars at work for a bloated corporation). Meanwhile, the kids are still lugging hopelessly written, expensive textbooks around, with no locker time between classes.
Teacher's unions have destroyed education in favor of instruction following (which is what our government and corporations like). The system's been broken since WWII, so I have no direct opinion on the OP's subject.

I like my parties a bit quieter, at least in the first half of the night. A little less destruction always means a little more action.

If you know what I mean.

If it's just guys partying, shit's bound to happen. But when things are mixed, you gotta have some quiet moments to make sure the right hookups are made and no one's seriously bugging out and hogging the spotlight, just because, "It's a party".

C'mon Tom, it wasn't THAT long ago. Just the 90s, I know technology moves fast but still.

The setups back then weren't streamlined or commercialized by that point. With a new ISP account, you installed a program to connect your browser to the server, and conduct business there.
After the dot.com bust, money had to made quick online, and nothing was sacred... except for Tom and his word of not selling our email addresses. Free email (POP 3) came with your ISP, but webmail and pay services were ripe for sellouts and hacking. The early days, you got one, maybe two email accounts... when they got cracked, you had to make another account and username.

Symbol and I did that. The 5 for 10 sounded like a great deal. But it's fucking terrible. We should have been incredibly fucked up after we slammed all those shots. What a rip off.

If it's Coney Island, just import your favorite bottle with you (backpack it or sling it), and drink like gentlemen. It's gotta be the budget plan for me. I may even bring an assortment... White Russians anyone? Man? I be the Big Lebowski on dis trip.

If ya can't get it wet, use a monkey claw when it's dry... or use a washcloth like Riltin said.

Sexism is a two-way street.
"We need to talk", is when one partner wants to win the conversation at at all costs.

My senior year, a new kid took up being a male cheerleader... Only the dumbest of dumbasses will think you're queer, and it will be proven by yourself and others not long after you start doing it. The new kid I went to school with, went out on three sleep overs and included sex with a mother (as well as the other cheerleaders and/or friends of;). I never would've guessed it by looking at him, but when I asked, he was dead serious... only problem was, he was also an ice-skater with a girl (team from childhood), who he was madly in love with for a long time (unrequited love)... but he did do all these chicks, honestly.

I believe the OP is referring to something that was touched upon in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (the book, not that God awful Hollywood movie)... All the living things on Earth have DNA, which is the most powerful of codecs. We're simply biological components to a big organic computer to answer a question (or two).
Personally, I believe evolution is caused by solar flare activity, kinda adding up what our genes have learned. Why else would the creatures farthest from the surface look so arboreal? Because they're further from periodic microwave bursts from the sun. Every few thousand years, the Earth's poles shift, and our magnetic shield goes down... correlate that with fossil remains and mail me my Nobel prize. Nature's more truthful than man will ever be.
