Shocked at the restraint of voters, since the Zone-Sama sexual parody obviously had the highest number of stars, and only made it to 14th place out of 20 movies. I'm sorry I voted for the porn (with commercial-sounding music) Tom :( Big kudos to the voting pool!
Please do check out the modest Delura Kickstarter. This crew has the balls, the scripts and the heart to go all the way, and they are ready for it.
These NATA contests never suck. Its notable competitors should be properly compensated for the time, adversity and genius they pour into their entries.

So was this sabotage or what? Or would telling us what happened pose a security risk? What wizardry was afoot?
@deathink mentioned the icon cutter going wacky, as I've heard it did in the past... any connection to the publishing outage?

You work too damn hard Tom. Who else has the authority to consolidate submissions into Collection pages? Ever consider paying some Mods to organize the site? Might help down the line, should you ever add an Advanced Search option (which is sorely needed).
Can any of the Roku material be sent to the Newgrounds page on YouTube? Might it further our respect stat?
Happy Valentines' Day to you Tom, and your loving family!

Also, serious answer now, Gamejunkie, any other answer is incorrect.
Yeah, maybe between me and GJ, we could put together a historical persepctive of some kind.... but for what nefarious purpose, OP? If this has to do with the BBS only, start reading, it's all there.
But for site content and layout, old members remember different things. It got to a point around 2002, where I couldn't keep up with everything that came through the Portal. Not long after that, I had a data loss and couldn't log in, then got reduced internet access, but still put 2-3 hours into NG every Saturday for more years than I would like to admit :|

Why the milk malady? Gonna make pudding? Maybe poxpower needs to make a cooking thread... jaxxy's got some good knowledge too.
It just galls me that, once upon a time, people like Egoraptor used to bitch about their work being stolen by the users of YouTube. It didn't seem all that long ago, that YouTube was declared a mortal enemy of Newgrounds for this reason.
Fast forward to today. Egoraptor has abandoned his Girlchan series and his other animated interests, and taken the path of least resistance for his creativity. Newgrounds has capitulated by allowing video on its userpages, and trying to assert itself on YouTube and other websites, with limited success.
Even before YouTube got taken over by Google, I thought of it as a video dumping ground and not much else. Now it's worse, thanks to the commercial aspect. These days, Google monitors every website (including Newgrounds) it has it's tentacles in, and uses that info, to try and make a buck of you, with custom ads attached to what they think you want to view.
Any fool can pick up a camera and video something. It takes a genuine effort to buy/steal Flash, operate it successfully and publish it here, where the ad-rev system isn't so crash hot. Despite the amount of crap passing judgement these days, Newgrounds polices it's own content.
I haven't seen a Let's Play or Vlog there yet, that didn't feel insipid or fatally flawed. Newgrounds was one the first websites to allow 'automated user generated content', and this is where I'm staying. YouTube feels like a sham; can't explain it any other way. Once Newgrounds gets it search metrics in order, and spruces up it's presence on the other major websites, it will undoubtedly get more traffic as well as respect. And remember, respect is everything.

No, I know it's where it should be. Just needs a dashboard notification thing (like the number on the PM button) is all. I'd hate to think monthly voting gets overlooked (because Tom didn't mention it in this post). It's not too often members click the Account Setting button.
Also a countdown to when voting ends on that page would be helpful too, since it takes time to review the stuff we missed.
Thanks Jim, you've been a real trooper!
...and for Pete's sake, the Monthly voting thing for January is (or is not) available in your Account Settings thingy. You could win $100! Dunno why there isn't some kind of exclamation point or something on that button, but I'm sure someone, someday, will add that to the css or whatever.
PS: If this was already mentioned by another member here, sorry! Got stuff to blam, no time to lose.
Ok... the NG Social button has been completely maxed out for optimum 'hairiness'.
The Collabinator want-ad setup is also a boon... but what about all those little bugs, like the secrets system, the obituary page, accidental double and triple posts (not everyone has a steady internet connection)? And, oh, the ability to post multiple images on our user pages?
Don't get me wrong, really glad I bought the supporter badge. Guess you'll have time to address these issues after the game's released (good luck with that, bruh!)

From this moment forward, anyone who becomes a supporter will get a green 2013 supporter badge.
This is the 2012 Supporter upgrade. (100 available)I would totally buy it if there were more payment options.. or if I had a credit card. I know no one who owns one - Neither my friends, nor someone from my family. It is not very common, we Germans prefer to pay in Goldtalern, with debit cards or via PayPal. Getting a Credit Card only to pay 25$ once.. is too much of an effort. :/
They make pre-paid credit cards, but the catch is, the bank who issues them usually takes a one-time fee for its first use, so I guess it pays to get a large amount or find someway to recharge it.
It's like the Hotel California, "...you can check in any time you like, but you can never leave." This place was here after I gave up video and TV work, and haven't really done anything creative since. It's nice to see others sweat and strut to render their work, just as I did. The producers of content here are truly my heroes!
Plus Tom never lost or sold my email address, and back in the day, that mattered big time. Hope the supporter upgrade helps them out.... was really looking forward to a steak and some ice cream this week :(
Yeah, that smell does kinda grow on ya somehow, huh Luis?

As do I. However, http://undermineinbaltimore.newgrounds.com/ has been here for over a decade, and used to dabble (or lurk) in the BBS. He once said in a thread, he had never known he was a UOTD, until a few people he never knew (or known since) sent him word. The terrible water in that country has finally gotten into the beer, and turned their hair all green and curled back (Neo-Elvis style).
There is not so a Newgrounds community! More like a residential district full of deeply individual individuals, that happen to talk across to each other. But in places like this, you can fuck around, fuck off, post shit and generally have a good time without it being brought up in a job interview :|
Like all things, it's what you put into it that dictates what comes out. If an introvert can't make a go of it here, I'd say he's fucked. OP: Nice to meetcha!

Truer words were never spoken. There's shit-tons more salt water than earth, and where do we choose to live? A few hundred miles out to sea, just North of D.C., there's an ancient rotted swamp 20 feet thick, sitting on a steep angle. If a quake hits it, it could slide off its stone perch, causing a displacement tsunami!
I mean, never mind the fact that Antarctica isn't even a true continent, just piece of rock sitting atop a fresh water icicle :| It's one of the biggest lies ever perpetuated in history, or so my science teacher and others have said, in serious one-on-one pre-internet conversations, that virtually no mainstream drone would dare to believe.
To the OP: Academia might be interested in precise, easy to add, caloric numbers, but people are NOT numbers. The amount of calories and composition per meal, as well as physical and mental activity, are as fluid and unpredictable as the weather. It's almost like hydrating... it's not how much you drink, but how frequently (often). Check the numbers before you turn in for the night; after a while, you'll get set straight.
I eat whenever it stops moving :P
Read description to get cheats.
What is this guy doing? Like the cheats listed in his description make stealing and reposting Pyrozen's original 'Feed Us' game okay? Major violation.

IKR? I donated dozens of times over a course of 20 years. Had a tick bite go bad on me last year, so I had to stop.
True, the 'non-profits', who make tons of money of your life's blood, is kinda like supporting terrorism. But when yer flat on your back and bleeding like a stuck pig, all that matters is that someone, some person, cared enough to save a life.
My first time (donating) was in the HS gym. Halfway through the bleeding, and after I mistakenly chose to shut my eyes for a little while (kinda got groggy), a pretty nurse (just under 30 y/o) in full outfit asked me how I was, startling me. She took the ID I had laid on my pants (just below the belly button - we were supposed to have it out for easy confirmation). The nurse then felt around my ass for my wallet, smiling quite wryly, added my driver's license to it, and pushed it slooowly into my front jeans pocket.
I'm very glad my penis was very near that pocket :) I lit a smoke as soon as I started the car. Two miles away at the first traffic light the buzz, of light-headedness and an instinctual boost of adrenaline, took hold. A mental reaction that was never to have been duplicated again.... But donating blood is a good thing!
